U.S. President Donald Trump has promised not to allow North Korea to threaten the United States with a nuclear-tipped missile

Trump also promised Fire and Fury. And North Korea shot two missiles over Japan and detonated a nuclear bomb.

He should shut up and let grown ups handle North Korea. But he won't. Because he is dummy.

Thank you, Republicans. Thanks a lot.

He should shut up and let grown ups handle North Korea.

So when Bush and Obama talked garrulously about Iraq and Afghanistan did you feel the same way? They both talked a lot of nonsense, made threats, talked about faulty expectations. I wanted them to shut up as well, but we rarely get our wishes when it comes to our political leaders.

But he won't. Because he is dummy.

A dummy with a lot of mad loot!

Foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying denied that China held the key to easing tension on the Korean peninsula and said that duty lay with the parties directly involved. She also reiterated China's position that sanctions on North Korea are only effective if paired with talks.

And China is most certainly directly involved. Sanctions are only effective if China doesn't water them down and abides by them.

Burning BushToday 07:44 am JSTChina could sink the US economy simply by not showing up at the Fed's regular treasury auction.

Where do you get this nonsense? We could sink China's economy by imposing a 45% tariff on all Chinese imports. And when the Chinese economy sours the CCP will be fighting to keep control over the people.

Lol sure..... This is what happens when a nation is too drunk from the effects of manifest destiny. The last kick from a dying empire. It's inevitable. All things eventually come to an end.

"The United States said on Friday it had military options to deal with North Korea, signalling its patience for diplomacy is wearing thin..."

Yes, and I believe that is a step down from "Fire and fury the likes of which the world has not seen", so wouldn't that be a sign of increased patience and backpedalling? We know it's a sign that sanctions aren't working, but still.

The United States said on Friday it had military options to deal with North Korea

Nonsense. All that tough talk conceals a dire situation: the US has no realistic military options with NK.

What the US can do? Bomb missile launch sites? NKoreans change them or do not reveal all sites. US can destroy airfields, army camps and other fixed targets, but NK has a lot of nasty surprises underground and in tunnels where no bunker-busting bombs could do anything. And any first strike by US forces will give Kim a perfect excuse to unleash everything in his arsenal, with full and lawful support of China ("we help the victim of American aggression").

Trump is not a dummy. Dimmies were Bush and Obama with their aggressions against Iraq and Libya, who gave all bad boys a hard lesson: do not want to repeat the fate of Saddam and Qaddafi? Never give up nukes!

Trump reaping what Bush and Obama sowed.

I'm sure some countries would lo....ve to impart some thorough lessons to NK, but , THE guy is a really " tough cookie", he's completely oblivious of the chicken game some people love to play. HE spits on the players. The juche-ite, with Titanium ding-dongs, has grabbed quite a bit of the world by their ding-dongs, and the Samurais are now crying for help. Lord have mercy !!!!

Wallace Fred

Are you talking about the US or NK?

Yes, and I believe that is a step down from "Fire and fury the likes of which the world has not seen", so wouldn't that be a sign of increased patience and backpedalling?

I thought his words were fine. Because that's what Kim and his regime would have to deal with that if he keeps this rhetoric up or are you saying, he should speak softly and be a doormat like the last president?

We know it's a sign that sanctions aren't working, but still.

So what do you suggest? Total and complete capitulation?

I agreed US, Japan and S. Korea must deal with N. Korean fatty dirty kid ASAP.

I don’t think N. Korea has ready to put Nuclear warhead on it ICBM at the moment but I think Kim Jong-un won’t be hesitate to use Chemical weapon like VX gas that he ordered to kill his half brother Kim Jong-nam at Malaysia Airport last year.

So if I was living in Japan and then I'll buy Gas Mask and I'll try it and exercise every time Government alerts missile warning. The people who living in Japan couldn't afford to take any chance with N. Korean missile threat. They must have Gas mask now before too late. The fatty dirty Kim Jonh-UN is a kind of person I go down and you go down. He will use all his dirty weapons before he goes down to the hell.

Hah! We have seen only too well how effective the US military is -- Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria...

What a laugh! China could never "sink" the American economy. In times of conflict Americans understand that paying a little more for underwear and odds and ends are far more important than the destruction of their country. China also understands this, as 95 percent of the Chinese people live on about a dollar a day. No Walmart or Costco equals about one penny a day.

The U.S. military has been very effective in disrupting the infrastructure of all countries stated. America does not set out to win wars, only to set back 50 years. The strategy seems to have been effective over the last 100 years.

It's all heading for conflict I would say, there is no way the US would accept NK having the capability to nuke any city in the US with thermo nukes. They were on the verge of war with Iran over their capability of making a crude bomb in a few years, whereas NK not only has nukes, their stated objective is to have the capability to wipe out the entire US homeland.

How long can the US wait? Soon enough NK will have hundreds of nukes and no amount of missile defense would be able to stop them
