Nobody here can guess if or when this virus halts its path. Not even the experts are sure, as this is a new cornavirus and each mutation does not follow a usual pattern, if indeed, there is a "usual" pattern.

I know that the above mentioned individuals would probably like it to be a crisis, as it's their best hope at this point to see the economy derailed and thus unseat the current president. A president who they've hysterically detested since day one.

It's not all about Trump, you know. He's tried to play it down, and appointed the worst person possible to oversee it, tried to muzzle the CDC and suggested using the flu vaccine! This is not the flu.

I guess they'll just have to keep their fingers crossed -- which is their only recourse since most of them don't believe in God and thus don't believe in prayer.

Er, no, we can be sensible and react accordingly when someone like him has no medical expertise. Actually, no political expertise, either. Omniscient alien beings don't come into it.

So in a country of over 300 million people, the number of people infected is but an extremely tiny sliver of the population.

If China had a handle on this situation when only a few people were infected, 80,000+ would not be infected today.

To ignore a crisis , just because acknowledging it destroys whatever fairy tale you've been cooking up, is not only stupid but criminal.

And of the country's nine deaths, all of them were in one state and most of them occurred in a nursing home, whose residents are elderly and presumably sick and thus particularly vulnerable.

Donny's minions, the ones who railed against education, know more than doctors now.

In other words, despite what seems to be wishful thinking on the part of certain politically opportunistic election candidates and their media allies, this virus has not become a crisis in the U.S.

And they accuse liberals of politicizing this issue.

This calls for an intervention

China's ambassador to the United Nations said the country is winning its battle against COVID-19. "We are not far from the coming of the victory," Zhang Jun said.

A spin doctor's vaunt .... we should never forget that China under CPP is very responsible for the near pandemic across the globe. It's not at all the first time. SARS aside, swine and bird flu though not affecting humans often originate in China.

The number of the infections in the U.S. topped 100 and the death toll climbed to nine. All of the deaths were in Washington state, and most of them were residents of a Seattle-area nursing home.

We scrutinized this data and we believe this decline is real," said WHO outbreak expert Maria Van Kerkhove

The WHO is in the CCP's pocket. That is why they initially downplayed the seriousness of the virus and then later admitted they were wrong. They will sing praises of china and do it's bidding.

Meanwhile, actual prc china-nese themselves are doubtful of their own country's claims that the virus is in decline in their country.

293 cases in Japan? That's because they aren't testing people like they are in South Korea. If you only test those who are symptomatic, of course the numbers appear low.

It's already ebbing in China and it's not even Spring yet.

Its not ebbing in China, the growth apparently has slowed down.

So its still spreading though at a slower pace!!

China, with its secrecy, incompetence and criminal negligence is responsible for this outbreak.

The measures they have taken later are far too less and far too late. It appears that the spread their is stabilized, however only time will tell if that’s true or only lie by the CCP.

The rest of the world meanwhile is a mess...

as of this post web reporting 293 cases in Japan https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries

That is, if you believe China. No one outside of China can verify their claims.

Yubaru, actually, it goes beyond quarantine. China built 10 hospitals in one month, each took 1000 people. Without technologies and generosities and determinations, it can't be done.

The manner with which China dealt with the virus is something only China can do, well North Korea too. Yet in western countries, people will not stand for being forcibly quarantined and the virus is going to reek havoc on countries that do not limit movement of their people.
