In February the Russian economy grew at 7.7%. A few months after the IMF said more than 5.5% isn't possible for Russia. Early indications in March are that it accelerated still further. Now in April we have a surge in oil prices. One would think they have to raise interest rates but inflation is well within the target range of the Russian government.

NATO-EU powers are failing so badly it making the campaigns of Hitler and Napoleon look successful. Now the Russians won't have to occupy Berlin and Paris but just leave it to the hopelessly impoverished citizens in the countries of their enemies.

I'm glad Japan is talking the talk in regard to Russia but not walking the walk. At the economic situation in Japan isn't a grim as in Europe. The sooner Japan dumps the US$, the sooner Japan can get out of it's economic funk. China is a far bigger market and Russia has far more of the food and mineral resources Japan needs. Time to make a break from USA. No doubt the US regime will threaten Japan with Hiroshima-Nagasaki consequences but Japan can say, leave peacefully and we'll be neutral. Don't and we'll ally with China.

Does that mean that the average Russian is making $215.40/month instead of $200/month?

Russia enacting more terrorism, just like at the concert hall, on another country.

And they wonder why they were the victims of the concert hall terrorism...

Russians should take a look in the mirror. They brought the concert hall terrorism on themselves.

The only thing that is certain, there is basically no homelessness in Russia at all. They have (an outstanding) free education from pre-school to graduate school. Universal healthcare. i.e. the average Russian has a higher standard of living than the average American.

Declaring victory over 41% of the world's gdp with uncommitted armed forces, are we?

My sweet summer child...

Yes, comrade, all is glorious in the new self sufficient Russia. Please be patient in the bread lines.

At least they get to be impoverished inside. Apparently it's cold outside in Russia.

the average Russian has a higher standard of living than the average American.

The median income in America in 2022 was $74,580. That works out to roughly as much per day, as a Russian makes per month.

Homelessness in Ukraine is created by the Putin bombings of civilian targets.
