We all know how this is going to end. Hope that the new Taliban will be more modern than before.

The Taliban fight for a cause they believe in. The Afghan army are in uniform for the salary.

The US could at least maintain air support. They are throwing the Afghan people under a bus by leaving. Would you want to be an educated Afghan woman with the Taliban knocking on the doors of your city? Other nations need to consider offering asylum to those who are going to face the most persecution.

GBR48... Other nations? Iran has about 2.5 million Afghani inside its borders.
