Karzai is doing the perfect impression of a pot calling a kettle black.

The fact tnat NATO continues to prop this jooker up is beyond stupid. Time to leave and let the Afghans run their own hellhole.

Probably true. The official US position always includes "plausible deniability " so the truth is hidden by smoke and mirrors. Nothing new.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, Karzai is a whack job who has nothing but a hunger for power. He accuses the US of this and then basically says "If you don't give me heaps of money I'll run to the Taliban". He then turns to the Taliban and says he'll bring them back to government and allow them certain powers in exchange for not attacking, etc. Now he tells the US THEY are colluding with the Taliban, the day after the Taliban issued extremely strong threats to them?

I agree with smith. Time for Krazy Karzai to retire.

Karzai: "The bombs that were detonated in Kabul and Khost... were serving America."

Really! LOL.

He's losing it.

I used to think the US and NATO might be doing some good in Afghanistan. Now I'm pretty sure it's a waste of the lives of our military. But maybe not. Maybe NATO should give Karzai to the Taliban and solve that problem. Then get on with trying to build a nation out of warring tribes? Mabye that still won't work.....

Trying to pacify Afghanistan serves no purpose, but the "you broke it, you bought it" principle applies here.

"you broke it, you bought it"

Afghanistan was broken way before the U.S. kicked the Taliban out of power so Afghan girls could go to school.

Hamid Karzai is becoming paranoid and dictatorship. Now he blames everything on foreign troops to cover up his incompetent leadership and corruption. Alliance Forces should be withdraw rapidly. This guy is self serving President. Japan should not put any money after Alliance Force was left.
