All I can say is, best luck to you King Charles, can’t replace the Queen, she was one of a kind, but now the country will slowly enter a new chapter for a new generation.

I think Charles will play the role perfectly for which he has been groomed. I don't see him asking his prime minister Liz Truss to appoint a tree-hugging minister.

I don't think Charles will give up his throne. I don't think William wants it while his children are young which would take him away from them for royal duties, and Kate too. Probably prefer 10-20 years down the road.

That's a radical idea indeed: democracy and republicanism. The catch is: Has the U.S. lived up to that idealism itself? Isn't it encouraging undemocratic measures to be taken by incumbent governments in other countries just for the sake of its own benefit? 

Take the U.S. base issue in Okinawa, for example.
