Everyone’s a saint if you think selectively enough.

And while his continuing influence is undeniable, critics of the 86-year-old son of a Massachusetts seamstress point out that he has compared Jews to "termites," called Hitler a "great man" and claimed that the white race was created by an evil wizard.

What a scumbag.

Not really surprised Father Pfleger would support him, but still “wow!”

He sounds like a racist, with a particular dislike of white people.

The head of the Nation of Islam -- barred for years from Britain and blocked from mainstream TV -- has been declared an undesirable by Facebook for his long record as an unrepentant merchant of anti-Semitism and homophobia.

Black social services and neighborhood support networks are good things, and highly desirable. The issue with National of Islam, however, is that it combines community support with big doses of hate and misinformation about white people Jews, and gay people. For that reason, the Southern Poverty Law Center has labeled NOI a hate group, and no government should be using taxpayer funds to support NOI activities. The positive aspects of NOI's activities should not be reason to overlook the unhealthy and anti-social messages of hate that it preaches.

Exactly. You don't fight or counter hate with another form of hate. This loudmouth is just another hatemonger - just like David Duke, Rush Limbaugh and Donald Trump. I don't care what skin color someone is or what your the shape of someone's face features are - a racist is a racist, and a bigot is a bigot and such people are SCUMBAGS.

I'm disgusted that a priest (Father Michael Pfleger) would allow a hatemonger like this guy to desecrate a house of prayer like this. Yes the word 'Catholic' means 'universal'. Popes having dialog with other religions is always good but you can't let a fundamentalist extremist in your temple blubber and rave on like a maniac. And Screwy Louie is a fanatical hate-filled hypocrite, not a true Muslim. He only thinks for himself in the long run, he loves the power and influence he has over his followers and admirers.

Telling others that they're better than the rest is still bigotry. Supremacy and exclusion of any kind - religious, racial, nation, etc. is against what religion is really about. It's what makes a cult. Malcolm X Shabazz saw through the smokescreen long ago and left the NOI and embraced true Islam.  NOI didn't want him speaking out against them and they dusted him off. That's your violence for you. Besides, hate and misinformation ALWAYS leads to violence against others because it portrays such people as being less than human.

Farrakhan's record speaks for itself. He made the bed, now he must lie in it.

I think you need to be more careful now a days in what you say.

But, lets take an example (if the Moderators will allow it).

I think I can say, that the way Israel treats Palestine is not good.

Now, by saying that, according to recent Laws passed by Israel, I am being antisemitic. And by being branded antisemitic, I could land in jail. Yet, I have not said anything about the Jewish religion, merely a statement relating to the way 2 Countries interact.

However if I say, "Palestine is a Nation of Terrorists". I don't get accused of something that could land me in Jail, infact it would seem I would be causing no harm to anyone, other than those peoples of Palestine, but they dont appear to have any voice to protect them.

Something is wrong here.

So a distinction needs to be made between those who preach directed hate, and those who make otherwise sweeping statements without malice.

He sounds like a racist, with a particular dislike of white people.

He is a racist and anti-Semite who is a personal friend of Barack Obama. Birds of a feather flock together.

zichi - Israel's National Law is nothing better than apartheid in South Africa.

After Facebook ban, Farrakhan denies hating Jews

The head of the Nation of Islam -- barred for years from Britain and blocked from mainstream TV -- has been declared an undesirable by Facebook for his long record as an unrepentant merchant of anti-Semitism and homophobia.

Farrakhan is, and always has been, a hater. It's what his admirers like best about him.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Yet, I have not said anything about the Jewish religion, merely a statement relating to the way 2 Countries interact.

The problem with this argument is that the Palestinians rejected the UN’s establishment of their own country. The Palestinian “state” does not exist in the eyes of the Palestinian people. There is Palestinian territory. However the PLO, Hamas and other terrorist groups that represent the Palestinian people will only accept nationhood status if and when Israel is wiped off the map.

There are many Leftists in the West who support the Palestinian cause but ignore the obvious fact that with it comes the implicit desire for the ending of the state of Israel. Palestinians always refuse every compromise, no matter how generous, because their is no way the Israelis will negotiate their own elimination.

However if I say, "Palestine is a Nation of Terrorists". I don't get accused of something that could land me in Jail, infact it would seem I would be causing no harm to anyone, other than those peoples of Palestine, but they dont appear to have any voice to protect them.

You are right. Instead of protecting their own people Palestinian leaders are more likely to put their people in danger. What kind of sick mindset does it take for Palestinian leaders to order military attacks against Israel from the grounds of a Palestinian school or hospital knowing that in order for their enemy to stop the killing of their own children they must risk killing Palestinian children. Palestinian leaders have been purposefully endangering innocent Palestinians in order to cultivate the support of global Lestists - and being the mindless suckers that they are the Left always fall for it. .

Farrakhan aside, the greatest current source of so-called "hatred' for Jews comes from two sources: the barbaric behavior of the zionists toward the People whose land they have stolen by force of arms (Manifest Destiny), and the conflation of zionism with Judaism which the zionists constantly propagandize into us. Somehow many Americans were able to disassociate ISIL from Islam but are underwater (and drowning) when it comes to disassociating rabidly racist zionism from peaceful and tolerant Judaism. This is programmed and purposeful. Palestine WAS a country recognised by the whole world. Words, not fact, is zionism. It is a perception built upon generations of consistent lying, obfuscation, and murder. The original "Mideast Terrorists" were the communistic zionists from the 1900s (Stern Gang, Irgun, et alia) running midnight terrorist raids against unarmed Palestinian villages employing guns, firebombs through bedroom windows, assassination of leaders and intellectuals, and just outright murder of Palestinian children with innocent adolescent Palestinian males as primary targets for murder. There is 100 years of accumulated behavior-based HATRED of the zionists in Palestine and we are told they must kiss the tochus of their abuser and submit to cultural Genocide. The Native Americans were EVIL too and the White G-d said so from every pulpit of the time and the people listened and felt naught but joy when they murdered these "savage infidels" There is nothing White Peop[le forget faster than White history. Our victims forget more slowly. And people who consider themselves 'rational' assert these policies without any thought at all, the least of which would be that maybe they should actually learn SOMETHING about the REAL history and betrayal which is Palestine. But the greatest weapon the zionists have is Human intellectual ordinariness and easily swayed credulity conditioned by living in perceptual fantasy in general. That's us. And this susceptibility to lies is a large part of our not too distant collective ticket out of here when this now numerically unrestrained (geometric 2X increase in the next 48 years) exploding planetary lice infestation eats itself into oblivion and completely resets Earth's biosphere by massive extinction of our neighbors. And us. The greatest hope for 'intelligence' on Earth is whatever the next configuration of Life which arises after our demise. Again, the zionists are NOT JUDAISM unless the KKK is 'Christian'! They have the same heart.

Yet you're not surprised anyone supports Donny. Odd.

I’m not surprised by anything liberals do and cherrypick as with in the last administration. As I have said before, FB can do what it wants as a private company. I don’t like Farrakhan at all, but I think he has a right to free speech, Pfleger and all these other radical liberals or even these radical liberal politicians all have the right, don’t like them. But their voices shouldn’t be silenced because where do we draw the line? If we start targeting conservatives only, it’s a matter of time before liberals are next. You don’t support the President, fine, I don’t support any of the radical liberals, but I do deeply believe in the freedom of speech no matter how off putting, political or revolting it is, if you don’t like it, don’t listen, but America should never have laws or rules limiting it with the exception of promoting or advocating murder.

@bass

Overdoing the ‘radical liberal’ thing there. Throw in a few ‘socialists’ or ‘jihadi socialists robbing Paul to pay Peter’ to mix it up a bit.

I agree with you on the main point. Farrakhan is a revolting bigot but he has the right to speak.

No more than liberals do.

Thanks. We CAN agree on issues. Kudos!

Completely irrelevant. Did it satisfy your unhealthy compulsion to bash liberals?

America should never have laws or rules limiting it with the exception of promoting or advocating murder.

Agreed. Good thing FB and Twitter are private enterprises. Wait, do you want the government interfering with private companies? Sure seems like that's what you're advocating, which sounds like communism. Are you pro-communist now?

Agreed. Good thing FB and Twitter are private enterprises. Wait, do you want the government interfering with private companies?

Not necessarily, but at the same time, you want them to be on the same fair and equal playing field. You may not think so, but millions of us do. If FB were being run by a bunch of conservatives, we all know liberals would never tolerate a one-sided echo chamber of political speech, wouldn’t happen.

Sure seems like that's what you're advocating, which sounds like communism.

Not me, I don’t own FB, but It seems like what Zuckerberg is doing.

If conservatives were capable of creating a platform like FB, theh would censor liberals. Look no further than Fox "News" for evidence of this.

Not me, I don’t own FB, but It seems like what Zuckerberg is doing.

Classic Bass. Lift a sentence out of context, twist it all around, and then reply.

Wrong again.....nice try though....

FNC personal and contributors

Doug Schoen (Hillary/Bill Clinton supporter)

Maria Harf (Hillary Supporter)

Shep Smith (Trump hater)

Jessica Tarlov (Liberal Democrat)

Juan Williams (Obama supporter)

Mara Liasson (Libertarian)

Donna Brazille (Hillary supporter)

Cathy Areu  (Bernie Supporter)

Mary Ann Marsh (Liberal)

Chris Hahn (Obama supporter)

All on FNC all rational but liberal, now show me another liberal network on TV or on FB or any other social site that allow and gives conservatives the EXACT same rights to freedom of speech. Don’t like what these people really have to say, but at least FNC to their credit allows the other side to be heard. Zuckerberg doesn’t think so. They may not be radical, but a lot of people don’t want to hear what they have to say, but FNC thinks all sides should be heard, again, liberals don’t think so.

Chip Star - Lift a sentence out of context, twist it all around, and then reply.

Why did you lift a sentence out of context, twist it all around, and then reply?

The Native Americans were EVIL too and the White G-d said so from every pulpit of the time and the people listened and felt naught but joy when they murdered these "savage infidels"

That's a case of pure racial bigotry, plain and simple. And God isn't white, black, or purple either. The Native Americans were/are not "savage infidels" but brainwash education in American schools tell us these lies.

I remember in the same reading systems book in 2nd grade a fairy tale about how Columbus 'discovered' the 'New World' yet pages before that was a story detailing the facts about Leif Ericsson, Vinland and Norse exploration of North America 500 years before! Double talking. Jive talking.
