All I can think of is how utterly devastated and heart-broken she will be about her parents. What a horrifying story. I hope she will recover and thrive.

Glad she is safe! That area is like in the middle of literally nowhere, and in winter gets colder than most places in Hokkaido. It took a lot of guts for her to run and now that the dude was arrested I hope she can get on with her life.
