Russ Vought, president of the Center for Renewing America, which Clark recently joined as a senior fellow, tweeted that federal officers forced Clark “into the streets” while he was wearing pajamas and “took his electronic devices.”

“All because Jeff saw fit to investigate voter fraud,"

There was no fraud. There was no evidence of fraud. There were me credible claims of fraud.

These were lies told by a defeated sociopath to overturn the results of a free and fair election that he lost, backed up by a drunk who has lost his law license as a result of his actions. Clark decided to raid the crazy train and now complains about the fare.

Clark should be glad he didn’t get dragged farther down the rabbit hole than he did.

Someone get him some new pjs. Sounds like he may have soiled the ones he was wearing.

Yesterday and today, sworn testimony ties Trump directly to illegal efforts to seat fake electors and to use the DOJ to lie about election fraud. And almost all of it by Republicans. Oops.... that puts a dent in his narrative.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

Why don’t they do away with all this legal mumbo jumbo and just have a good ole fashioned shoot out? /s

Throw the book at the hoodlum.

Authorities on Wednesday searched the Virginia home of Jeffrey Clark, who was known at the Justice Department to champion Trump's false claims of election fraud.

Election fraud? You mean the fake cries of election fraud that Trump and his cabal all screamed in public, but when behind closed doors all ADMITTED there wasn't any....

What more proof do Trump supporters need that they were being conned all along?

Trump knew he lost and that there wasn't any fraud - his AG, campaign manager, and closest advisors (Conway and Miller) told him. But there wasn't any swindling money in that strategy so he latched on to Team Crazy's criminal scheme to create PHONY electors and certification lists...a plan even the author Eastman knew was "CRAZY" and "ILLEGAL"...

And the dots are connected - Trump knew he lost, yet concocted a criminal scheme and continued with the Big Lie in an attempt to subvert the Constitution and remain in power, while at the same time grifting his supporters of over $250 million - that went to his hotels and golf courses...

Quit the cult Trump supporters - save yourself from further humiliation and embarrassment...

“All because Jeff saw fit to investigate voter fraud," Vought continued.

No, he sought to take part in overturning the election.

Claims of significant "voter fraud" had already been well debunked by the time this lickspittle joined the game.

I’m sure the timing of this was just super coincidental to try to revive interest in these lagging hearings.

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

There was no fraud.

The left keep saying this.

The left continue to say this, we know.

Ok, that’s the one side that believes that, they have the right to believe whatever they want, we all have that right, even if we disagree.

Clark should be glad he didn’t get dragged farther down the rabbit hole than he did.

Why?

Someone get him some new pjs. Sounds like he may have soiled the ones he was wearing.

For now, but the clock is ticking on the Dems and they know it.

I like the part where a who’s who of morons and pervs asked to be considered for pardons.

Paragons of idiocy including Gun Barbie Bobert, Jewish space laser Greene, Matt “Got a Venmo account, sweetheart?” Gaetz, Mo “But I was on your side, Don” Brooks , Scott “I know an environmental lawyer” Perry and Louis “This is my actual face” Golmert.

Because whom amongst has NOT requested a pardon, a BLANKET pardon for any crime from a POTUS? Nobody???

I personally think such pardons were not issued for 2 reasons: First, these idiots were no longer useful to Trump so he cast them aside like so much garbage. Also, anyone accepting a pardon would have lost their 5th Amendment rights were they called to testify agains Trump.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

There was no fraud.

The left keep saying this.

As well as every member of Trump’s own administration, the DOJ, and election officials in every state he claimed. Under oath no less

oops, those pesky facts.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Today’s hearings established intent. Trump knew he lost. He knew there was no fraud.

“Just say there was fraud and leave the rest to me and Congressional Republicans”. THAT is direct evidence of intent to commit a crime (as well as being laughable.)

So much for the “But he BELIEVED IT!” defense...

4 ( +4 / -0 )

More and more damming evidence, from republicans and staff of 45 no less, under oath.

Nobody likes admitting they were wrong but it’s never too late so save face. Or you can just bleat about ‘the left’ and Rinos instead and keep the circus going.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

As well as every member of Trump’s own administration,

Well, when you are threatened by the DOJ you will do whatever you have to protect your family. I would.

oops, those pesky facts.

Yeah, the long arms of the US DOJ

Except that all their testimony nicely jibes with each other. So there was a conspiracy amount these people to tell a coordinated lie, UNDER OATH risking serious consequences for doing so, to back stab a person they worked for?

I think Barr had a term for that that the Moderator would not allow me to quote.

This is an “in need of medication” crazy claim. It is ludicrous on its face and everyone with a modicum of cognition knows it.

And not for nothing but ALL the facts back up their claim and NONE back Trump.

I would be embarrassed to say anything this blatantly “un-factual”, but that’s just me....

The House committee and the Justice Department have worked separately but had some public friction.

I wonder how long this charade will play out before it fizzles away?

Waste of time and money.

But in the end, good promotion for Trump.

Go get 'em!

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

I wonder how long this charade will play out before it fizzles away?

Most likely in multiple federal felony convictions.

In what drug-addled conspiracy fever dream universe s the possibility of criminal prosecution for throwing to overturn the results of a free and fair election “good promotion for Trump”?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Lincolnman, to your point:

What more proof do Trump supporters need that they were being conned all along?

There is no level of evidence, no amount of credible fact that will convince these poor deluded people.

As Joe Scarborough said the other day “Trumpism is Fascism.”

It’s also a cult of personality. Facts don’t matter. Reality doesn’t matter. The law doesn’t matter. All that matters is devotion to the Emperor no matter how naked he walks down the street. (And I apologize for the mental image...)

In my congressional district, the GOP runoff election was held this week and the Trump-backed guy lost. There is hope. https://www.ajc.com/politics/another-trump-candidate-defeated-evans-loses-runoff-to-mccormick/WNH5VENPYJCH5JMATGPG2E54NA/

I'd always thought most of my neighbors were way too right - to the point of crazy, but perhaps I've misjudged them. The winner wasn't backed by Trump, but his platform is very similar with the GOP for the last 40 yrs. Now I just need to figure out if he's a liar or worthy of my vote this fall.

BTW, Trump lost. Anyone claiming anything different since around December of 2020 is living in a fantasy world and needs to be on medication. They are certainly unfit for any office.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Except that all their testimony nicely jibes with each other. So there was a conspiracy amount these people to tell a coordinated lie, UNDER OATH

Eric Holder lied under oath and so did Lois Lerner, again, UNDER OATH.

risking serious consequences

Uh-huh, keep telling yourself that.

I think Barr had a term for that that the Moderator would not allow me to quote.

So Barr is god, he can’t be challenged because he was AG?

This is an “in need of medication” crazy claim.

I have been saying this for years about the DNC.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

There was no fraud.

The left keep saying this.

Pure delusion. Barr, Stepien, Miller, KellyAnne, even Giuliani under oath before a judge said there was no fraud. If all these folks are leftists, then Trump had the most left administration in history...

There was no evidence of fraud. There were me credible claims of fraud.

The left continue to say this, we know.

Can't wrap his head around the fact that Giuliani admitted twice that there was no fraud; testifying under oath that "This is not a fraud case" before a Pennsylvania judge, and to the Repub Arizona Speaker - "We have lots of theories - we just don't have any evidence"....

Keep labeling all these Team Trump members "leftists" - its great comedy...

6 ( +6 / -0 )

And not a word for the election workers doing their job who with ZERO evidence were called "professional vote scammers" by none other than Trump.

Rudy used an overtly racist Troupe claiming they were passing USBs "as if they were passing vials of crack." It was a ginger mint.

As a direct result of these horrible lies, these non-partisan election workers were doxed, received THOUSANDS of sexist, racist texts, one's grandmother suffered a home invasion by vigilantes effecting a "citizen's arrest."

It's another example of how Trump cares about no one but himself (A point that should be rather obvious to his supporters by now seeing how his former supporters have been treated.). He is completely a-moral and utterly transactional, and he has absolutely no qualms about others suffering at his expense as long as he benefits.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

So did Holder, Yellen and Lerner and they lied under oath.

Keep labeling all these Team Trump members "leftists" -

No one is calling them leftists, but make no illusion that the DOJ is some rag tag outfit. The last you want to every do is cross them, but now they have been politically compromised I wouldn’t put anything past them.

its great comedy...

Wish it were

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Once again, Trump supporters here have no substantive response to the evidence. It's all just "the left", "libs", "Dems", "witch hunt".

I'd like to hear in what ways the hearings are inaccurate or false. With evidence.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Pure delusion. Barr, Stepien, Miller, KellyAnne, even Giuliani under oath before a judge said there was no fraud.

So did Holder, Yellen and Lerner and they lied under oath.

So all these proud MAGA-warriors, Trump's closest confidants, his inner circle....all turned on him and lied under oath?

My, my...that's quite the charge....so they all should be prosecuted for perjury...OK...

Keep labeling all these Team Trump members "leftists" -

No one is calling them leftists,

Hmmm.....

bass4funkToday  08:53 am JST

There was no fraud.

*The left keep saying this.*

its great comedy...

Wish it were

It is...watching the Trump supporters dodge and deflect from admitting they were used and scammed...

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Our righties are out of luck. Today's hearings only had testimony from staunch, life-long Republicans, all part of Trump's administration, all testifying under oath and threat of perjury, that there was zero evidence behind the claims made by Trump, and the committee has clearly proved that it was an attempt to maintain power, and not to investigate any actual claims.

Trump (and the people who supported him here) used circular logic. Trump said there was election fraud, so people questioned whether there was election fraud, and Trump said that because people had questions about whether was fraud, it needed to be investigated. Then, he, and they, tried to claim that the lack of any evidence to support any of the allegations meant that there was a conspiracy to keep this evidence hidden, when in reality, there was never any evidence to begin with.

Now here's the thing. We all told you that, at the time. If you argued at that time, and are just realizing now how deeply you were fooled by complete and utter lies with no basis in reality, I hate to tell you this, but you should never trust anything you 'believe' again, because this has proved you are just not good at it. And for those leftovers who ever after hearing all this evidence still believe the election was stolen, well, you're the flat-earthers of politics at this point.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

*So all these proud MAGA-warriors, Trump's closest confidants, his inner circle....all turned on him and lied under oath?*

Who knows what deals were made by the DOJ

My, my...that's quite the charge..

Yes, and with good reason based on the history of the Dems and DOJ

..so they all should be prosecuted for perjury...OK...

I thought Holder, Lerner and Yellen might, but they weren’t….odd…

It is...watching the Trump supporters dodge and deflect

Liberals are the last people to claim about dodging anything, considering their President is the king of dodge.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Liberals are the last people to claim about dodging anything, considering their President is the king of dodge.

Says the king of dodge "Itself".

What you cannot dodge, refute or argue (using data or anything "sane") is that the election was free and fair. Trump lost. He knows he lost. He conspired to overthrow the government. Among the illegal things he did was to illegally pressure the DOJ to do his dirty work (because as always, he was too much of a coward to do it himself.)

He is going to burn. I don't know if there will be a legal reckoning. But it is ALL coming out. There is no stopping it. There WILL BE a reckoning.

And we will all remember who was on which side.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

As for Clark, yet another in a long line of Trump sycophants who had better get a REALLY good defense attorney. He is going to need it.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

The only real question at this point is how many of trump and his cronies will manage to avoid jail. So many tried for pardons but trump screwed them all like he does everyone.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

To Plastic's point:

Trump "Hereby demands Equal Time"

I say to Trump: Donald J Trump: COME ON DOWN! You're the next contestant on "under oath!"

Put your left hand on the bible (No, your other left there, Don. There is a good boy.) Raise your right hand, swear to tell the truth under penalty of perjury.

I am sure that the DOJ will be willing to give you all the time you need to both tell your story and talk yourself into a prison cell. Because to do one, is to do the other.

Equal Time - All yours buddy. Step on up and take the oath.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Notice how not a single competent person, and I don't mean on this board, but in real life, supported Trump that there was election fraud? Now that we're seeing all their testimony, it's very clear that the competent people all told him he wasn't working with facts and reality. It's all the rejects, the bottom of the barrel losers, who told him otherwise. The people who didn't actually know what they're talking about.
