I agree, walking out of any conference is childish. Much like when UN had a conference on racism and countries blamed Israel for apartheid and racism and they walked out together with USA. At an international stage, you cannot simply walk out just because you hear things people don't like. That is childish behavior.

Ahmadinejihad's rant was done before a UN audience. Canadian delegates, to the honor of their country, walked out on this lunatic. American delegates, however, for the first time ever, remained and listened in polite deference, no doubt on orders from the WH. Obama makes me ashamed to be an American citizen.

The problem is not capitalism. Its the debt-based monetary system that is screwing things up, and the fact that we do not have a free market.

Actually he is right, "capitalism" is the source of all problems. The problem though is that what is called "capitalism" is not capitalism.

Capitalism and market economies do not exist in any country where A) banks are not held accountable for their losses or held responsible for lending to un-creditworthy borrowers, or B) where the price of money is not set by the market but is set through a central planning authority.

Communism and Socialism have 1 goal, that is to put everyone on the same level. They do this by pushing the successful people down, to the level of the unsuccessful. However they must have a ruling class, and this ruling class does much better then the proles. Not only that, but the ruling class is typically hereditary, meaning upward mobility is very hard.

Capitalism on the other hand works by pulling people up. I envision a hand. Pushing against some pliant material. Communism and Socialism pushes everyone down, but a little bit squirts through the fingers. Conversely capitalism pulls people up, but again, there is some that slips through the fingers. Thus people succeed more under Capitalism, having a better quality of life, greater freedom, and a chance at upward progress. The problem is, its more difficult to control, which dictators hate, and because so many people are so well off, its easy to see significant differences between those who have, and those who have not. Thus it gets a lot of unfair criticism for causing the have-nots. And of course Dictators such as Din-Din can't stand it. Too much freedom for their people.

Sure look at all the successful dictatorships of the commie/socialist kind. Oppression, genocide, sever poverty and unemployment. This idiot has proven his level of thinking is not very high for a leader of a country. What is wrong with countries and leaders like this?
