Aid group halts food delivery in Gaza after Israeli strike kills 7 workers

The dead from Monday night's strikes included three British citizens, Polish and Australia nationals, a Canadian-American dual national and a Palestinian. Those countries have been key backers of Israel's nearly 6-month-old offensive in Gaza, and several of them sharply condemned the killings.

Obviously Hamas is responsible for these aid worker deaths.

Anyone going into a war zone assumes the obvious risks.

This was an accidental strike caused by an intentional terrorist attack on Israel on October 7.

If Hamas would release the hostages there would be a ceasefire and the only threat the aid workers would face would be the threat from Hamas, which has been disrupting aid delivery and shooting civiians trying to deliver aid.

OK they said they would once Israel does the same which is oddly the same thing the UN has told Israel every year in over a decade.

From 2009 to before October 7th, Israel has killed over 6,000 Palestinians, nearly half women and children over 2500 were not during any conflict. (Same period under 400 Israelis were killed)

The UN has made a report every year on the blackhole prisons that Israel keeps Palestinians with changes or trial, the majority are intellectuals children and women and even lawyer this number is over 6000 at any given time! Those same UN reports including details of torture!

This is what happens in wartime. It is a tragedy of course, one for which Hamas bears responsibility.

Another part of the tragedy are the hostages being kept for more than 170 days. Including and infant and toddler.

600 IDF soldiers have been killed, trying to defend their country from terrorists. This also happens in wartime.

This is also Hamas' responsibility.

If Israel has to endure 600 additional deaths, the world which is expressing "outrage" over the deaths of 7 aid workers has to endure this simple reality.

The IDF soldiers are bound by duty and law to defend their people. Anyone else entering Gaza for whatever purposes know the risks in advance and thereby accept those risks.

600 IDF soldiers have been killed, trying to defend their country from terrorists. This also happens in wartime.

The IDF killed 6,000 civilians between 2009 and before October 7th nearly half being children 2500 during non conflicts and that was not during war!

IDF is a glorified execution squad!
