I did too

And I had two uniformed cops knock at my door to make sure I was..,

to ease the rules before the industry's most profitable season starts.

Ah yes money. But this is a national security issue. They should be fined for pursuing actions that threaten the country

were supose to self isolate when we come back to the UK but the fact is no one does,

I did. Shame on you if you didn’t.

"Britain's strict quarantine requirements still in place", HA! what a joke that is, when this new covid variant was discovered ( in/from India) there were 4 flights a day for two week BEFORE they did something about it, like restricting travel from India, 300+ people on a plane, times by four, times by two weeks, all of these xxx thousend travelers were allowed to come into the UK without being taken to a quarantine hotel or sent back to India. TBH the UK is pretty slack on restrictions, were supose to self isolate when we come back to the UK but the fact is no one does, as there is no one to check up. lots of rules but no one is there to enforce any of them.

BALPA is demanding that the UK Government gets its act together and opens the U.S. routes and European holiday travel destinations that it has blocked with no published evidence at all."

Uh? 128,000 deaths, variants originating in overseas countries, what other evidence is needed. This is a tragedy for the industry but safety measures are still needed

Obviously the Americans who would be going to the UK would be vaccinated.

That's right. And hence my original post:

Come on UK--let us in.

Simple, wasn't it?

That's your statement and not mine but anyway it's not a UK entry requirement.

Delta variant is already in the USA

Okkkk, but irrelevant.

30 million 46.4% UK citizens fully vaccinated.

Definitely don't want the other 54.6% of unvaccinated UK citizens entering the US. Of course.

zichiToday  06:20 pm JST

Bizarre. Do you want Americans allowed into the UK and return with the Delta variant but not allowing UK citizens into America?

Obviously the Americans who would be going to the UK would be vaccinated. And what about the "30 million 46.4% UK citizens fully vaccinated."? Wasn't that supposed too mean the UK is safe? Which is it?

Bizarre.

Commodore Perry

Come on America--let us in.

Since 16 March 2020, it is not possible for most British nationals to enter the USA if they have been in the UK, Ireland, Schengen zone, Iran, Brazil, or China within the previous 14 days.

Maybe the US doesn't want the Delta variant from the UK.

Iran, China--self-evident.
