Next up: The military uncovers technology that allows them to speak to God, and He says the U.S. military has his full support!
The military provided few details to back up the claim...

how on earth do they know these were the people responsible???.... seems to me that anyone would do simply to satisfy the desire for payback...

Another lie to deflate the the fact that Obama is directly resposible for deaths of those soldiers. Lies!!!
jinjapan
too little too late . time to leave that place !!
just-a-guy
Those talibans were 'expensedables' some days later they will do that again! This is a war between the CIA and ISI, the pakistan intelliegences. This war held in wrong place for ten years!
dano2002
Armen, do you mean the war that Bush and the Republican war mongers started for no reason?
WilliB
So what. They go to para dise and are happy. More insurgents to come, an endless number in fact. Ob ama s idea that he can defeat the ho ly war by remote controlled pinp rick bom bing in Afg hanistan is lun atic..
HumanTarget
Willi,
seriously man, Obama inherited this war. The right-wing talking points about "Obama's war" are ludicrous. In fact, every argument the right makes work under the assumption that the previous 8 years before Obama never existed. It's infantile.
Laguna
2011 Republican talking point: "Obama is prolonging the war in Afghanistan!"
2013 Republican talking point: "Obama cut and ran in Afghanistan!"
Since you can never win with that group, you might as well do the right thing: get out.
WilliB
HumanTarget:
No, they are not. Do your homework. Obama campaigned on Afghanistan being the "right" war. He moved troops from Iran to Afghanistan, his pet war.
He consistently defended being in this mess, and increased it. Having "inherited" it is no excuse.
You can not forever blame all of Obamas blunders on what he "inherited". The man is not powerless and can make his own decisions, and bear responsibility for them.
Afghanistan is Obamas war, like it or not.

"He moved troops from Iran to Afghanistan, his pet war."
Yep, just keep spreading the manure.

The US Navy seals should not be screwing around there in Afghanistan, they should be in Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia etc..all of these DRUGS are a bigger threat to the USA than a few camel jockeys Taliban lovers who are trying to take a crappy country back to the stone ages.

Nice, racism AND ignorance.

Good.

The war in Afghanistan is fully justified. The Taliban harbored Al-Qaida, Al-Qaida attacked the U.S. The problem is, the U.S. went in without a plan other than to kick some ass. And now the military is stuck there while the diplomats try to decide what can be sold to the American public as a "win."
Moving troops from Iraq to Afghanistan was also justified. Iraq was done - when was the last time you heard of bad stuff going on in Iraq? The new government appears to have achieved whatever level of stability is possible in that country. And, by the way, the U.S. didn't belong there in the first place. It was a ploy cooked up by Bush's cronies to make billions for companies like Haliburton and Blackwater.
Obama has done nothing but make positive steps toward finishing the job and getting the troops out of there.

Elbuda, I'm shocked to hear this coming from a Mexican. The source of the problem is not in Central America, it's in the United States. Prohibition showed us that interfering with supply does nothing to slow the flow of illegal substances. It just puts control of that supply in the hands of criminals.
There are a couple of easy ways to eliminate the drug cartels. Legalize drugs in the U.S., or formulate and enforce severe jail terms for possession of any amount of illegal drugs. Death penalty for "possession with intent to distribute." I vote for the former, just because it's easier for the U.S. to make money from it.

Yes Dano2002, just a waist of peoples lifes. Yes Obama Inherited this war, but I’m getting into the depth of his reasons of continuing it for absolutely no reason but getting USA into more debt! I’m simply stating that this particular operation wasn’t well planed and while having a BQ, Obama allowed it to go on. He had to sign on it. He is to blame!

You must have been in a cave. Did you hear that Osama Bin Laden was killed? Do you know Obama is planning to pull US troops ASAP? I believe I have been following this war very carefully.
My friend was killed in Afganistan and came home in casket. I do not appreciate ANY unreasonable and untrue comment here, okay? Your comment is not funny at all to me, very insulting. I need your apology here.

LOL. You are not really following the truth of this war. Sorry, pal.
