The last two world wars ended up involving the US. The US was uninvolved with Europe after WWI and that didn't turn out so well in the end. After the Second World War the US and its allies rethought how the post war world should look so there wouldn't be a WWIII. So far that has worked as planned but if the US withdraws from Europe it won't be for long. There will be a WWIII and the US will be part of it. The Russian invasion of Ukraine is like the German invasion of Czechoslovakia and Poland. If the US and its allies do not stand up to Russia right now and defeat them in Ukraine, there will be another great war in Europe and the US will again get pulled into a great and tragic war that is preventable today by defeating Russia. NOT by caving in to them.
