Stay strong, Ukraine, as the sane world is still with you.

What is described as the "Shahed Iranian-made" drone is, in fact, the Geran drone, which is mass produced domestically in Russia.

This uses Russian equipment and gizmos (including GLOSNASS) and is constantly under development. Some latest versions apparently have an optical tracker. Others have appeared with what may be a stealth coating.

Larger point is production have massively ramped up and the fruits of that are being observed now (posted a graph showing the recent massive increase in deployments of these drones the other day). Zelensky has got something right for once.

Also, don't be fooled by the reported shootdown rates: the main point of these is to flush out UAF air defense positions, then prosecute them with other systems. Secondly, they cost a mere fraction of western AD interceptors, so they do a sterling job on the cost-exchange equation from Moscow's perspective.

Russia is aiming to save and stockpile its missiles, which are much more powerful than drones

This is probably correct too. RFAF have not deployed air-launched Kh-101's for about or over 2 months. The theory goes the Aerospace Forces are building up a stockpile for a series of decapitation strikes on the remainder of Ukraine's energy grid this upcoming winter and finish it off for good. There have been several-month pauses previously in air-launched strikes followed by periods of intense bombardments, so the theory has some merit. And all this doesn't mean RFAF have not been employing other means at their disposal to strike target packages that present themselves in the Ukraine tactical and strategic rear areas recently: that is where the Iskander comes in handy.

When Obama supported and approved of the overthrow of the last democratically elected government a united peaceful Ukraine had, if Russia had tried to restore democracy to the western part of Ukraine, the White Bloc would have used that as an excuse to flood enough weapons into the hands of the Azovians, they would have been able to do to eastern Ukraine what Netanyahu has done to Gaza.

A fascinating set of assumptions considering russia invaded before the peaceful coup had even completed.

Now that the White Bloc cannot afford to do much more than keep the Azovians on the front line armed, Russia is waiting for the western Ukrainians to revolt against the Azovian regime, at which point all it has to do is keep the Azovians on the front lines from getting back to the cities and towns to put down the uprisings and then guarantee the people of Western Ukraine's sovereignty will be protected from the Azovians no matter how much backing (weapons and cash and 'legitimacy') the White Bloc tries to give them, and no amount of propaganda and agitation will get the population of western Ukraine to agree to be hostile to Russia again for decades.

Ukrainians are united now, though, in the absolute burning hatred for the animals invading from the east.

No conditions for a just peace have been proposed by the terrorist side. You are basically saying "hopefully Putin will push for peace". Not likely to happen.

Ukraine will very soon become independent and free. At least from America and Western countries that brought the country to a semi-marital state.

A fascinating proposal considering the Donbas and Crimea aren't even independent.
