You want to know what's even more disgusting?

After these two cops, who callously shoved a 75 year old man to the ground, splitting open his head and not giving a d*mn before moving on, were rightfully suspended...

57 more cops in Buffalo quit their position with the city's SWAT-equivalent.

That's right... they'd rather 'stand with' their two 'brothers' who abused and hurt a 75 year old man, than stand up for what's right.

How can anyone wonder why so many in the USA are right now calling for changes in the administration, training, and culture of the police forces?

In Buffalo, New York, two cops were suspended without pay after a video showed then pushing over a 75-year-old protester who fell and suffered a head injury.

The elderly man is visibly bleeding from the back of his head and not one officer can be bothered to kneel down and render aid. Every single one of them should be suspended and the officer commanding should be fired.

The elderly man is visibly bleeding from the back of his head and not one officer can be bothered to kneel down and render aid.

Worse, he was bleeding from his ear. The cop in front of him did bend down to render aid in a normal human reaction. But another cop (his superior, I guess), immediately grabbed his arm and told him to keep moving. The whole culture of policing is rotten. But so is the whole mindset of people who have allowed government to get to this state.

So, the protests have outlasted the looters, and now they've outlasted police restraint.

The question is, will they outlast the politicians who are betting on a 'return to normal'.

Because if they do, THAT is when change will be possible.

Fascism, pure and simple.

I don't believe even the army would treat the people so badly.

Let those 57 quit, the Buffalo PD doesn't need cops who stick up for the 'bad apples'. This is now an opportunity for Buffalo to hire some real cops who really give a damn about 'protecting the public from crime'. And shoving an unarmed elderly man (black or white) down and getting his skull fractured, then doing nothing is a criminal offense.

The Police everywhere have real reason to fear for their own safety/lives in the midst of the present turmoil, hyped up by the leftist media.

No, humans are nearly all law-abiding. Pretty much all of us.

The police have little to fear in areas where they are respected. That's why you see the police taking a knee, or even dancing and celebrating with protestors in some areas. Because they have earned the respect to be able to do so.

4 ( +9 / -5 )

The media is disingenuously reporting only one side of the unrest, utterly ignoring/enabling extremely violent actions by so-called protestors.

Not all rioters are actual protesters. Some are just scum looking for a chance to riot. And some are police in plain clothes acting as agents provateurs who sabotage rightful protest, a bit what I feel about what you are trying to accomplish here.

If the press is ignoring any violence from the people, it comes after decades of ignoring violence from cops and generally reporting and supporting the police/ court's side of issues at the expense of those who were brutalized or murdered. The tables have turned. Enjoy.

But we actually don't need any new police brutality videos to know what a brutal, murdering occupation force our police have become. There is literally decades' worth of video proof on Youtube. This is not remotely about just George Floyd. The police have brought this all upon themselves by either terrorizing and brutalizing the people or by covering for or doing nothing against other cops that do.

4 ( +8 / -4 )

Another day, another police brutality.

2 ( +7 / -5 )

You'll also note that the media has been silent on George Floyd's extensive criminal record( FIVE incarcerations for a number of violent crimes, in particular the most recent 5-year stint on a 10-year sentence for armed robbery, home invasion and GANG RAPE of a pregnant woman in Texas, a person of non-color).

What relevance does this have? It seems entirely unrelated to the issue, you're going to have to draw the connection on why you think this point would be relevant (if it's true)?

Bear in mind that both autopsies revealed that the Mr Floyd was high on both Fentanyl and methamphetamine at the time of his arrest as was behaving erratically. He posed a direct threat to the officers, had drugs in a baggy, and was uncooperative.

He may or may not have been uncooperative (none of the videos I've seen seem to indicate that, but whatever), but after he was incapacitated, do you think that choking him until he died would be the appropriate police action to take, over something like say, handcuffs?

2 ( +9 / -7 )

This is sick. First black people. Then the elderly. Who next? Young children? Being heavy handed with a looter or someone physically abusive is one thing. But people who are not putting up a struggle or threatening anyone?

Every single enabler in Trump's camp will have blood on their hands, be it his family, his minions, his supporters. Drain and burn that swamp in November.

He posed a direct threat to the officers, had drugs in a baggy, and was uncooperative. All of the above make a recipe for a high-risk situation for ANY officer at a time of frequent violence against police officers.

None of this is true.

Not all rioters are actual protesters

Not all police officers are bad.

Not all white people are racist.

Not all burned down/looted businesses are white-owned corporations.

Not all business owners are perfectly fine to lose their business and life savings as long as justice is done to the officers.

Not all looters are black.

Not all BLM members are black

Not all Democrats care about black people.

Not all Japanese are xenophobic.

Not all Japanese have mental issues.

Not all Japanese care less about the coronavirus.

You can't defend one side and then point the finger at another saying they are all like this/behave in this manner.

if you watch the video carefully, he was pushed with one hand and not that hard.

Indeed you should watch the video carefully. He was also pushed by a cop wielding a baton double handed, and that cop was pushed himself by a cop behind him adding to the force. And all that as the man was already backing up because the blue thugs started screaming at him to "MOVE BACK!"

What you witnessed was a gang of thugs attacking an innocent old man in the sly manner in which they were trained to do it. They fooled you and you could not even see it on the video. Those of us who can see have nothing but contempt for every single person wearing a badge, because we know their tricks and we know how they protect each other's worst actions. Any cop could blow the whistle on another cop any time, but the few who are that decent are quickly sacked. Thus, I hate them all. The video is a fine example of what they are and what they are about. Stop falling for their tricks and lies or you will fall just like the old man did.

The same leftists who previously advocated police arrest people for gathering in public are now, within the space of 10 days, advocating the abolition of police and encouraging mass gathering

I hope everyone stays safe tomorrow night.

It think its going to be bad, the last gasp of this politically motivated effort that has nothing to do with Mr. Floyd by now.

After tomorrow it should be over, until the trial comes and the police are acquitted (on purpose) then it starts all over again. Likely right before the election.

The Police everywhere have real reason to fear for their own safety/lives in the midst of the present turmoil, hyped up by the leftist media.

For decades police have claimed to fear for their lives as an excuse to murder 100 percent innocent people or even dogs the size of a chihuhua on their own front porch. Christoper Roupe, 17, was gunned down when he answered the door with a Wii controller in his hand in 2014. The chihuahua mix dog Jack was killed by cops in 2009 when cops entered property while the owners were away. The owners pulled three bullets out of the porch. Some or all the bullets went through the five pound dog apparently....which had also been tazed.

Sadly none of these stories is unique at all. Off the top of my head I vaguely remember a couple dozen. Experience tells me I could find dozens more by searching the web in the next few hours. And, if I really wanted to, I am sure I could spend the next few days posting similar individual cases here before I start getting into cases where the police even had any business with the person or dog in question.

Fact is policing in America is not even in the top ten on the list of dangerous jobs. Its more deadly to be a roofer or pizza delivery staff. Yet pizza delivery staff are not murdering people's dogs.

I must have always misunderstood because I thought the role of the police was to protect the people.

You believed the words and didn't analyze the actions. The police are there to protect the lives, property and system of the rich and to keep the rest of us in line, haul us into the for-profit prison system, or take our money in punishment fees masquerading as concerns for public safety.

Biden said 10-15% of Americans are "not good people".

Interestingly 13% of Americans identify as black.

What are you saying exactly, Joe?

Yes excellent point, I’ll never forget when Biden said that Obama talks very well for a black man, he’s smart and articulate, so basically what Biden is saying is that most Black people are stupid and ignorant, but did the media say anything about it? Of course not.

Modern society just cannot function without an authoritative force to provide law and order.

All these dumb kids posting on Facebook/Instagram laughing at police being forced to kneel are getting the totally wrong message.

We cant have a civil society if young idiots think of police as "clowns" or a "joke" who just stand there while these kids violently the police, assault others, steal from stores and burn down buildings. Society cant survive like that.

In 2018, the latest year for which such data have been published, African-Americans made up 53% of known homicide offenders in the U.S. and commit about 60% of robberies, though they are 13% of the population.2019 police officers fatally shot 1,004 people, most of whom were armed or otherwise dangerous. African-Americans were about a quarter of those killed by cops last year (235),

What are you saying exactly, Joe?

Cause I know if Trump said it, we know the media would be saying he called all black people "not good people". Which was make the weekend riots even worse, incited by his comments!

But with Joe, its "somebody else", never to be clarified who he meant.

The vote counts really show who controls social media. Its the people who supporting cracking open an ordinary innocent old man's skull with a goon squad. He clearly was not rich enough to be respected.

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

More proof that US policemen and women are nothing but mindless, lowly thugs. Down with ALL US police officers!

I just hope the poor old man survives this brutal attack.

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

I have chosen to have no interest in this, as the narrative is police brutality against black Americans/people of color.

Same as the media has no interest in what happened to the other 2 black men killed by looters.

Mr. Dorn and Mr Patterson just vanished from the public eye because it doesnt fit the narrative, This 75 year old man will as well, once he has served his narrative purpose.

There is no Al Sharpton for the two black men killed just because of who killed them and who didnt. No Al Sharpton, no Dem politicians, no funeral tours for a week, no "celebrities". Its really disgusting how all these activists want nothing to do with these 2 men's deaths. But the media is all over it when a white guy gets pushed to the ground.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

As a Black person,i would not have no problem punishing a racist White, it only a matter of hiring a lawyer ,and serving legal papers on racist White person, and let him answer before the court ,why is justified being racist, this is how easy justice can be meaded out against racist Whites in America

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

Does the fact that this man who was pushed down is white and a known activist have any relevance, or not really?

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

"1200 public health experts have signed an open letter asserting that Black Lives Matter mass gatherings should be encouraged because “white supremacy” is a bigger health threat than COVID-19."

All clear! lets go "protest" this weekend.

Now if only "baseball games" or "concerts" could be encouraged and added to the "exempt from catching corona at these" list.

police officer is 18½ times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer.

well, they found some of the the "out of town" people with "Southern accents" who were rioting and looting in NYC. You know the people the media was implying were "white supremacists" due to their accents.

Will be more this weekend, Im sure.

That is exactly correct And as bad as it was for the old man to get pushed like that by the police officer, you have to understand one thing the police at the time and present were in riot mode and anyone over 77 years old and frail should not be caught up in the middle of a horde of violent mob anarchists, that is seriously putting your life in danger, that man shouldn’t have been anywhere near that mess.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

Commanteer,Majority of Blacks do not have fear of the police or White people, their are Blacks that do not tolerate nonsense, from criminal cops or racist White people, they stand their ground for injustice, criminal police and racist White, fear the legal consequences for their action

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

the policies of these liberally run police departments have no relation to the President.

None of these cities elected Trump and they are run by "progressives" mostly in all the key positions. Governor, mayor, police chief, attorney general.

Every single enabler in Trump's camp will have blood on their hands, be it his family, his minions, his supporters. Drain and burn that swamp in Novemb

The Police everywhere have real reason to fear for their own safety/lives in the midst of the present turmoil, hyped up by the leftist media.

Case in point is the murder of a retired 38-year BLACK police Captain who was gunned down by armed looters in St Louis.

VIDEO shows ‘persons of interest’ in murder of retired black cop David Dorn, ‘killed by looters’ https://www.rt.com/usa/490985-police-capitan-murder-suspects/

When people taunt the police, or physically attack them such as throwing bricks or frozen water bottles (MANY such instances) there will be a likelihood of being restrained or subdued physically while being arrested. Peaceful protest is one thing, but there has been a lot of aggressive acts by protestors/rioters.

I noticed that the article failed to mention the numerous police who have been KILLED in the past several days by rioters, and NO MENTION of the BLACK retired sheriff who was MURDERED by a gang of looters while robbing a pawn shop. The media is disingenuously reporting only one side of the unrest, utterly ignoring/enabling extremely violent actions by so-called protestors.

The man is no martyr or person to be honored unless it's now trendy to bestow honor on career violent criminals. Bear in mind that both autopsies revealed that the Mr Floyd was high on both Fentanyl and methamphetamine at the time of his arrest as was behaving erratically. He posed a direct threat to the officers, had drugs in a baggy, and was uncooperative. All of the above make a recipe for a high-risk situation for ANY officer at a time of frequent violence against police officers. Look up the statistics of police officers killed in the line of duty in the last decade in the US and the perpetrators of those cop killings. The facts are NOT what the media is about.

-8 ( +5 / -13 )

The cop in front of him did bend down to render aid in a normal human reaction. But another cop (his superior, I guess), immediately grabbed his arm and told him to keep moving.

...and immediately called someone, I assume paramedics. The old man should not have been there, and if you watch the video carefully, he was pushed with one hand and not that hard.

Many police are thugs, but I really don't see anything wrong with this one example.
