Africa needs more like this legend at a time when it's being torn apart by Violence, Greed.

He was a very inspirational person.
Mr Kipling
A great man who was not afraid to speak out against the apartheid in Israel.

Tutu's voice was heard around the world as a cry of his people for freedom. His activism helped tip the scales to end South African fascism.

I think the whole world needs more like this great person.

I'd hoped he'd survive to see the fall of the last surviving Apartheid regime.
And in a time when so many who have no moral authority try to proclaim their possession of it, the death of someone who actually had moral authority hurts humanity.
Desert Tortoise
A great man of immense moral authority who led a consequential life, changed lives for the better and died old and full of years.

Could be worse. Apartheid could still be around

The true testament to how great a man Tutu was is that, rather than try and bury him under claims he was a racist, the American propaganda machine is determined to instead bury his opposition to the Israeli regime.

In America the evangelist Jerry Falwell (Sr.) called Tutu a 'phony' yet look at what he and his Trump-loving son have done and stood for, let alone the sex scandals of Falwell Jr. recently. They supported an antichrist and Tutu supported the real Christ.
Abp Desmond Mpilo Tutu was a genuine true man of GOD. A trooper who walked the walk. Action speaks louder than words. Tutu risked his life for what is right and he lived to see his reward in his life, before he got it today. Guys like him and Pope Francis give religion a good name because they are the REAL DEAL. Tutu was the Real McCoy.
'Well the God I believe in is never short of cash, mister!' - BONO.
And Tutu was not 'one of those' at all.
He lived long enough to see his mission and dream come true, most guys like him don't. Tutu was lucky, he got rewarded in his life and now he gets his eternal reward today. He's finally in Heaven now.
RIP ABP. DESMOND MPILO TUTU. He's big enough that Miles Davis named an album after him. Fact. AMANDLA NGUWETU.

So sad what South Africa has become since the end of Apartheid.
