Dershowitz and Trump, along with a number of other global 'elites' will forever be stained by their associations with Epstein.

Dershowitz is a deep-swamper, another Fox 'news' talking mouth pushing far right, authoritarian regimes - like Trump's. He's got rich as an attorney for the criminal 'elite'.

Trump in the past has tweeted this about Starr:

"I think Ken Starr is a lunatic. I really think that Ken Starr is a disaster." https://

twitter.com/Acyn/status/12

Makes sense that a disastrous lunatic is supporting Trump's ongoing disastrous lunacy. Cue the theme song to Looney Tunes

The amount of time, money, and resources used to defend a corrupt President just stunning. But I suppose that's what happens when you elect a documented scammer and confirmed pathological liar.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

Given the trial is rigged, I don’t understand why Donny is assembling a “dream team” of swamp-dwelling lawyers. Moscow and Leningrad have already assured Donny will be acquitted because Moscow and Leningrad have already stated they refuse to look at the evidence.

GOP: Party over Country.

The amount of time, money and resources used to impeach a president, knowing it will go nowhere in the Senate and practically guarantee him a reelection because your party is seen as nothing but in-fighting time-wasters is just stunning.

It’s called oversight. Holding a corrupt president accountable is important whether the biased senate will convict.

Donny will forever be the third president to be impeached.

Moscow and his fellow republicans will forever be known as the senate that put party over country and made a mockery of justice.

What a splendid idea. Since Ken Starr is so fascinated by the sex lives of presidents, perhaps this will give him an opportunity to depose Trump on the numerous allegations that he sexually molested women?

4 ( +5 / -1 )

This Article says" Trump is turning to an unassuming jurist with little trial experience but high regard in conservative Washington legal circles to lead his defense in his impeachment trial. White House counsel Cipollone has spent most of his career in commercial litigation" "

Yes.. Even a high school graduate can defeat the case which brought to senate by the so called house majority democrats......................... Trump is clever he does not need such high level expensive team to defeat such silly case.

Thank you for the news article..

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

The amount of time, money, and resources used to defend a corrupt President just stunning.

Wow! So you’re saying essentially the President just shouldn’t or doesn’t have the right to challenge the charges hurled against him or to prove his innocence. What is wrong with you liberals? Smh....

But I suppose that's what happens when you elect a documented scammer and confirmed pathological liar.

How? He wasn’t convicted of anything. In the US you are always innocent until proven guilty, the burden of proof. I’m so disappointed with the thinking of you guys, very, very sad.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

the so called house majority democrats.

Get used to this kind of talk, my fellow Americans. Because we are gonna see more and more of it the less votes the Republicans get. No, not satisfied with a popular vote looser President, a small-populated state majority Senate and a gerrymandered house that gave them the House until recently and now gives them 15 more seats than they should have, by definition,

if its "Democrat-controlled", it's illegitimate.

They will only get worse the more unpopular they become. Never forget: they think America is theirs; that we are only renters -- at best, and they will use democratic elections and process when it suits them. When not, meh, the Constitution is negotiable.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

@basf4What is wrong with you liberals?

By resorting so early in the thread to the default 'liberals' it looks like the global alt rightists are once again unable to find a way to defend their Trump; they're conceding defeat. SMH ROFL

What a splendid idea. Since Ken Starr is so fascinated by the sex lives of presidents, perhaps this will give him an opportunity to depose Trump on the numerous allegations that he sexually molested women?

Not really simple like that. I remember it like it was yesterday. Unlike Trump, Clinton was charged with a real serious crimes.

Article I, charging Clinton with perjury, alleged in part that:

On August 17, 1998, William Jefferson Clinton swore to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth before a federal grand jury of the United States. Contrary to that oath, William Jefferson Clinton willfully provided perjurious, false and misleading testimony to the grand jury concerning one or more of the following:

the nature and details of his relationship with a subordinate government employee;

prior perjurious, false and misleading testimony he gave in a federal civil rights action brought against him;

prior false and misleading statements he allowed his attorney to make to a federal judge in that civil rights action; and

his corrupt efforts to influence the testimony of witnesses and to impede the discovery of evidence in that civil rights action.

Article II, charging Clinton with obstruction of justice alleged in part that:

The means used to implement this course of conduct or scheme included one or more of the following acts:

... corruptly encouraged a witness in a Federal civil rights action brought against him to execute a sworn affidavit in that proceeding that he knew to be perjurious, false and misleading.

... corruptly encouraged a witness in a Federal civil rights action brought against him to give perjurious, false and misleading testimony if and when called to testify personally in that proceeding.

... corruptly engaged in, encouraged, or supported a scheme to conceal evidence that had been subpoenaed in a Federal civil rights action brought against him.

... intensified and succeeded in an effort to secure job assistance to a witness in a Federal civil rights action brought against him in order to corruptly prevent the truthful testimony of that witness in that proceeding at a time when the truthful testimony of that witness would have been harmful to him.

... at his deposition in a Federal civil rights action brought against him, William Jefferson Clinton corruptly allowed his attorney to make false and misleading statements to a Federal judge characterizing an affidavit, in order to prevent questioning deemed relevant by the judge. Such false and misleading statements were subsequently acknowledged by his attorney in a communication to that judge.

... related a false and misleading account of events relevant to a Federal civil rights action brought against him to a potential witness in that proceeding, in order to corruptly influence the testimony of that witness.

... made false and misleading statements to potential witnesses in a Federal grand jury proceeding in order to corruptly influence the testimony of those witnesses. The false and misleading statements made by William Jefferson Clinton were repeated by the witnesses to the grand jury, causing the grand jury to receive false and misleading information.

These are the reasons why Clinton was impeached and now Democrats want their revenge they couldn’t get with Bush, now take it out on this President, but the real problem is, over what? The articles are so weak, there is just no way the Dems have a strong case going forward.

Defend? Nothing to defend? Liberals from early on don’t even have a case. Try as they might, failure for the 5th time is futile. Lol

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Epstein’s lawyers are defending Donny!

Seems right.

Lots of American are ignorant of the law, they believe their opinion, hold legal Statue, when it no more than their ignorance rants

1 ( +1 / -0 )

extanker: practically guarantee him a reelection

Please explain. Are you saying there are people who are on the fence about Trump and the impeachment will make them run to the polls to vote for him?

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Are you saying there are people who are on the fence about Trump and the impeachment will make them run to the polls to vote for him?

I think people have already made up their minds. People that love Trump will vote for him again, the people that hate Trump won’t. The key here are the independents and right now they’re not liking how Democrats are handling this impeachment farce.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

22 percent of registered voters in the latest poll said impeachment makes them more likely to support Trump, so yes.

Including 11% of independents and even 6% of Dems who somehow admit it when someone is being railroaded.

this was in the latest Reuter’s poll which has the lowest recent approval rate for Trump of any other.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

One of Epstein’s alleged victims, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, has accused Dershowitz of participating in her abuse. Dershowitz has denied it

No surprise this guy represents Donny, birds of a flock..... they say.

And Donny’s supporters, ones who think assault on women is funny, going hysterical in his defense.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

And Donny’s supporters, ones who think assault on women is funny, going hysterical in his defense.

Alleged.

There will be many Trump voters who voted for him last but won't be dong so next time.

And vice versa of people that are totally turned off with the lack of progress from the Democrats and that they’re so obsessed with this impeachment farce they’re not focused or concerned with anything else.

Trump's Chinese Trade War have hurt people working in manufacturing and agriculture with people losing their jobs.

I agree with that, but at the same time, Not a single Democrat or even Republican addressed that issue and to add to that, no Democrats even tried to support the President on the trade issue, so don’t even start that garbage that the Democrats are concerned, they’re more worried about a disastrous and crap deal with the Iranians over the average fly over average American farmer.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

alleged

Nothing alleged, Donny admitted doing it on tape.

Billy Bush and on and on...yaaawn. Lol

Nothing alleged here too, here’s the post from one insensitive Donny supporter.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

22 percent of registered voters in the latest poll said impeachment makes them more likely to support Trump, so yes.

It’s always comical when a Trumpophile cites a poll. Of course, it only happens when the poll supports Donny. When the poll cuts against Donny, Trumpophiled pillory the poll.

The one consistent thing about Trumpophiles is their lack of integrity.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

And vice versa of people that are totally turned off with the lack of progress from the Democrats and that they’re so obsessed with this impeachment farce they’re not focused or concerned with anything else.

Yeah! Never mind the over 100 pieces of legislation the dem controlled House has passed and Moscow is sitting on in the Senate. The done haven’t done anything!

1 ( +3 / -2 )

The amount of time, money, and resources used to defend a corrupt President just stunning.

The amount of time, money and resources used to try to take down a duly elected president because of their hatred for the man and their anger at his election win over the anointed one, and the damage done to the country is just stunning.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Nothing alleged,

So just throw the US judicial system out the window, eh? Thank God, this farce is now in the Senate and away from the child emotionally driven Democrats, get this trial over and done with soon.

Donny admitted doing it on tape.

He also admitted and has the pay stubs to show Ukraine got their aid and missile defense shield, how cool is that?! At least they didn’t get a bunch of blankets.

Nothing alleged here too, here’s the post from one insensitive Donny supporter

And yet, he still got elected and without a criminal record. You guys need to stop, y’all can’t take this guy down, but try if you must. Lol

0 ( +3 / -3 )

You did just that, calling both Biden's guilty even without a trial.

No! I just want them to testify. Do I personally think their guilty....possibly, but do I know, of course not.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

@bas4Ff What?

Go to California and you’ll find out why?

Thank Reid

The above comments each a white flag of surrender used by the global alt rightwingers when they can't form a coherent argument and want to stop a thread. SMH LOL

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Trump is making trade deals all over the world while the Democrats obsess about impeachment, wasting taxpayer money. Gee... who should we vote for...

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Serrano: The amount of time, money and resources used to try to take down a duly elected president because of their hatred for the man

You do understand that that would require mind reading, right? It's just a convenient plot hole filler....they threw away their careers and integrity because they hate Trump.

Trump is making trade deals all over the world

He's producing the kind of trade deals that I could produce.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

The above comments each a white flag of surrender used by the global alt rightwingers when they can't form a coherent argument and want to stop a thread. SMH LOL

Surrender??? lol, what are you talking about? As I see it, the Dems are the ones that can’t get their radical agenda through Congress, nibble on that for a moment.

He's producing the kind of trade deals that I could produce.

Then you should be President...oh, wait.....ROFL!

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

I could tell it was the man-child who assembled this team. Only the best!

2 ( +3 / -1 )

The Dems aren’t pushing a radical agenda in Congress.

Yeah, they are, now you don’t need to convince me, try convincing McConnell, he might listen to you.....or not.

Trump's trade deals have caused the loss of jobs for some Americans.

And created thousands more.

Put some American businesses under pressure with closures across the board.

And seeing and increase in small businesses also

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/washington-secrets/small-businesses-booming-84-see-another-good-year

Then I suppose Trump would just say all is fair in adultery and trade wars.

You look at the doom and gloom and I’ll look at all the growing positives will continue to increase like the two new deals. This is just further eroding the Democrat pile on in a way they never hoped, thanks Nancy.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

The impeachment will be just like another OJ.

No, it won’t go that long and unlike the disastrous House impeachment circus, this will be more calm and Republicans will be allowed to present and make their case without Schiff trying to gum up the wheels and play God and also, Warren and Sanders don’t want to spend too long of a time off the campaign road, but if it comes to that, McConnell could stretch it out just to hurt the two politically. Democrats need to be very careful now how they go about this. The presidential candidates want to get out and back on the road as soon as possible, so this won’t be a long trial.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

The new Green Deal was one, thsnkfully

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

So just throw the US judicial system out the window, eh

Says the supporter of a man who calls Judges biased because of their ethnicity

Thank God, this farce

Not standing up for democratic processes, eh, not surprising for Putin's minions.

He also admitted and has the pay stubs to show Ukraine got their aid

Did he do that in private to you?

And yet, he still got elected and without a criminal record.

Not sure what you got elected to, will be interesting to hear though ROFL.

You guys need to stop, y’all can’t take this guy down,

We'all seem to be doing a good job, donny boy is going hysterical with his tweets.

Claims made by the party that uses race as a wielding political too.

Not standing up for democratic processes, eh, not surprising for Putin's minions.

Blocking certain witnesses, not allowing certain testimonies in, not allowing the President to face his accuser, yeah, not allowing for the Democratic process.

We'all seem to be doing a good job, donny boy is going hysterical with his tweets.

Thanks Nancy for making it all too easy for this President to slide into his second term and cherish those pens

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Newsflash - he had that opportunity in the House but refused to call any witnesses or provide any documents, and prevented any of his team from appearing - you know, the team that could exonerate him?.

Newsflash! To show evidence of a crime being committed was the responsibility of the house, they had all the time, they had all the tools, they could’ve done whatever they needed to do to get the witnesses that they wanted and they didn’t and they know why, they failed and now they try to do the same and to push the Senate to do their job for them, it will never happen. The Dems have no power and no control over the Senate, it’s not going to happen, it doesn’t matter what the pundits on CNN or MSNBC say, Mitch McConnell is presiding over this and steering issue and whatever he decides that’s going to be the outcome and Nancy just needs to take a hike

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Thanks Nancy for making it all too easy for this President to slide into his second term and cherish those pens

"Slide" as in the cell door sliding closed, and "pens" and in penitentiary...you know, where Manafort, Gates, Cohen, Stone, and soon Flynn reside....and there's a bunk waiting for TIM (The Impeached Moron) too...

You're reading fake news. The House clearly proved their case - and Donnie could have sent just one witness or one document to exonerate him - he didn't. Now he's fighting to keep any witnesses that could exonerate him from the Senate trial. Hummmm....

So tell us again how important innocent until proven guilty is - and Trumpers previous chants of Lock Her Up...

Only in an Oliver Stone movie.

You're reading fake news. The House clearly proved their case

Yeah, that they had no case built on flimsy evidence.

and Donnie could have sent just one witness or one document to exonerate him - he didn't. Now he's fighting to keep any witnesses that could exonerate him from the Senate trial. Hummmm....

It wouldn’t have matter if Trump cured cancer or world hunger, people like you would still find a way to howl about the guy, don’t even try.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Claims made by the party that uses race as a wielding political too.

I hope you understand that promoting racial intolerance by the GOP nutters doesn't equate standing up for racial equality by the democrats. both might involve race but have opposite positions.

Blocking certain witnesses, not allowing certain testimonies in, not allowing the President to face his accuser, yeah, not allowing for the Democratic process.

Protecting witnesses is fundamental to the judicial process hope you understand. And sure we can call Bolton, Pompeo as witnesses, lets go for it.

Thanks Nancy for making it all too easy for this President to slide into his second term

He seems to be slipping in his 1st term, falling repeatedly , so maybe he will just slide over to Russia. Makes it easy not to get up again!!!!!

Nordham, Byrd, Wilson, Fairfax....Yup, great roll models that every Democrat aspires to be..

Protecting witnesses is fundamental to the judicial process hope you understand. And sure we can call Bolton, Pompeo as witnesses, lets go for it.

Well, thank God that the Democrats don’t get to decide who can or cannot testify. If Bolton is called, then the Biden’s or the whistleblower will be called, if the Dems won’t allow it, Bolton won’t show up either.

He seems to be slipping in his 1st term, falling repeatedly ,

Not really.

Friday, January 17, 2020

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 49% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove

So basically it’s half almost. The president is essentially right now in good standing and it’s pretty consistent it’s ticked up a bit but so far it’s been consistent and if the economy holds up and continues to stay on this path, the second term is a sure victory, not if he goes below 30% he’s in trouble and he’s nowhere even near that margin of swamp

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

The poor, victimized Trump whine: another white flag of surrender.

Surrender? Naw....more like more winning.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

great roll models

None of them were much into rolling, as for Role Models, they made mistakes and admitted to them.

But having a bigot for a President who surrounds himself with similar people doesn’t really help you much.

Bolton won’t show up either.

Bolton wants to, but Donny is so scared he’s sending out threats.

Not really.

Really, really, Rasmussen or not!!!

1 ( +2 / -1 )

the president hasn't had a chance to present his side.

He was given the opportunity to do so under oath, and he refused.

And he has had his Twitter platform.

Ben Carson is racist? Omarosa was one....oh, she hates Trump, so now she’s not a racist. I see....

Bolton wants to, but Donny is so scared he’s sending out threats.

Like the Democrats are scared to put Biden and Hunter on. Even if Bolton gets the green light and personally, I think he should, the Pandora’s box will be open for the Dems and that means the Joe and Hunter Biden, Schiff and even the whistleblower could be called and No Democrat wants that and if they’re not willing to provide access to these people then Bolton and Mulvaney will be a big ”No can do.”

Really, really, Rasmussen or not!!!

40% is not slipping, try again, I know it’s hard, but give me presidential politics numbers where he’s UNDER 30% nationally, take your time.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

He was given the opportunity to do so under oath, and he refused.

Without my legal counsel, I wouldn’t either.

And he has had his Twitter platform.

And the Dems has a chance to get all their witnesses and now they think they can run the Senate as well.

Cry me a river.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

So you guys really think Schiff and Nader can our lawyer this team? that’s hillarious.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Out lawyer. They were minimally successful only when Schiff could prevent Repub witnesses and withhold witness transcripts and bang his little gavel when he didn’t want someone to answer or talk.

Nadler, he was sleeping in his own committee hearing. More than once.

Let the liberal personal attacks against the defense team members begin. Cause you aren’t winning the law argument so gotta make it circus time to get on CNN.
