How nicely worded for their propaganda and lies.

appeared to likely have gone astray. Veered off course. Maybe. But of course “we will never know for sure” or some other nonsense.

Could have also been hit by an iron dome missile.

The pro-terrorists are going to keep spouting Hamas' propaganda.

The rest of us will follow the independent assessments. The British are looking into the bombing also - if they also find it was at the hands of Hamas, the pro-terrorists will no doubt call it "lies".

I'm interested to read independent reporting. (on this or anything else)... please tell me what/where it is to be found. thank you.

Yeah no kidding. As if Israel would purposely target a hospital. They are fully aware of how the world views them and how much disdain everyone has for Israel's constant will for survival.

Could have also been hit by an iron dome missile.

No, too close to the launch site.

Not sure I understand all the fuss and the contortion to explain the horror.

No need to overthink, the spoke person hananya naftali had himself admitted of the strike before removing his tweet when realizing the massive number of innocent victims. Since he is the spoke person, his job is to get the message from official source higher up and publish on tweeter...

No need again to enter into technical details. That alone is sufficient to ascertain the source

You need another person online to help you find reporting that is balanced and not simply propaganda?

-9 ( +4 / -13 )

A bit late for the acknowledgement. Unsurprisingly, the mainstream media immediately uncritically jumped on the Hamas propaganda claim. Expect more of the same in the coming weeks.... the mainstream press, relying on Hamas claims, will report that Israel bombed hospitals, kindergartens, little babies and puppies, but never ever a Hamas tunnel storing explosives.

What is Open-Source Intelligence?

https://www.sans.org/blog/what-is-open-source-intelligence/

With respect organizations, governments can stare at there belly buttons long enough, wade through every nook and cranny of jargon/waffle and eventually create more trouble than it is worth.

A political pandora box, lid half off.

Neither the Israeli government or PIJ/Hamas are simply going to hold up there hands are they?

Sometimes, this could be a case, to accept that the political outcome will actually create the very result all would wish to avoid.

yes, you.... go ahead, please inform me of these sources of balanced reporting....

If that's you in the photo, you are older than me.

Come on, man. You've had many years to find some sources of reasonably balanced news...and you still need a random internet person to assist you?

I'm not here to plug news sites.

Oh REALLY ?!

So NOW you're going to BACK TRACK and finally ADMIT Hammas DID IT, and NOT Israel?

Did you check what AP originally said about the attack, or just proceed immediately to caps lock?

In the greater scheme of things regardless it doesn't erase the atrocities that Israel has rained upon the Palestinian people for decades.

-1 ( +7 / -8 )

The West is getting cold feets about an Israeli invasion of Gaza, because they fear the war will spill on their own streets and Biden is floating a delusional that Hamas attacked Israel to scuttle his thug peace agreement, between the Saudis and Israelis

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

Hamas don't have that kind of firepower. Hamas Rockets can't do that kind of structural damage. They don't have the explosive power.

These kind of ammunitions apparently need to be launched from long ranges ( 30 Kms) or from higher heights ( 10,000 meters).

Israel struck the hospital imo. Then seeing the wave of rage even by the West, they backed down and blamed Hamas.

In the greater scheme of things regardless it doesn't erase the atrocities that Israel has rained upon the Palestinian people for decades.

"The Palestinian people" is a term often bandied about, but remember that the time of Israels founding, the Jews were also considered Palestinians.

Remember UN resolution 181 b: "To foster co-operation among all the inhabitants of the city in their own interests as well as in order to encourage and support the peaceful development of the mutual relations between the two Palestinian peoples throughout the Holy Land; to promote the security, well-being and any constructive measures of development of the residents, having regard to the special circumstances and customs of the various peoples and communities."

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

People say Hamas does not have the firepower to cause such damage. I believe their missile failed and caused a secondary deadly explosion among munitions stored at the hospital. Hamas is known to hide munitions in hospitals so they are safe from Israeli attacks.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

But of course “we will never know for sure” or some other nonsense.

You believe a lot of things that have no evidence.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Thousands of unguided Hamas missiles are sent in the direction of Israeli civilians, but this time the rocket hit a hospital inside Gaza. Why is there not equal outrage when Hamas's missiles hit Israeli civilians?

6 ( +8 / -2 )

JDAM.

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

You believe a lot of things that have no evidence.

as do you. As do you.

-8 ( +4 / -12 )

Why is there not equal outrage when Hamas's missiles hit Israeli civilians?

Who said that there isn't? How do you accurately judge levels of outrage?

4 ( +8 / -4 )

“Look at the stupid position that was taken by the President of the United States of America who said, ‘I agree with Israel’s version’ without any investigation,” Hamad said. “Unfortunately, the Western world is full of hypocrisy.”

Knee-jerk conclusions are indeed stupid but we are all used to hearing the transparently biased talking points of politicians. Investigations into the cause of the hospital bloodbath would be a good place to begin before the finger pointing, but let's not forget whichever side(s) were responsible, it'll be cold comfort to the dead and the loved ones left behind.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Look up JDAM. And the kind of precision strick damage it causes.

Then look up who uses those.

Then compare and contrast the damage assessment using OSINT.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

The people here like you who try to justify Hamas' terrorist acts, and minimize what was done to Israel.

Calm down sunshine. I have neither justified nor minimized anything here.

How are you accurately judging outrage levels? How do you control your immense outrage?

4 ( +7 / -3 )

The fact is that the explosion was from a Hamas-fired device.
