an average family in Argentina still pays 20 times less for electricity than similar households in neighboring countries.

Gee. Wonder how an electrical system can be sustained by rates like those?

My bet is on a coati for the cause of the outage. They are like raccoons, but get into much more places and cause more damage.

Argentina is an amazing place, from the jungle near Iguazu to the bottom of the world in Patagonia and the BsAs metro area - each is amazing. The only negative aspect I can recall from my travels there was the mismanagement caused by the corruption in the federal govt. In general, the people were great, as long as you weren't a supporter for a rival football team.
