Well, it was obvious from the start that he was nutcase. That didn´t stop the democratic party hack journalistica from trying to blame it on the evil republicans, of course.

It's the conservatives who, after all, are most responsible for supporting measures that make it possible for mental incompetents like Loughner to obtain Glocks with extended clips.

Glocks don't use "clips", they use magazines.

Being incompetent to stand trial right now is independent whether he was mentally insane when the crime was committed. This is only about his current condition.

They will evaluate him again months later whether he is then competent to stand trial (then his defense team will try to convince the jury that he was mentally insane during the crime).

Ironically, the doctors will try to improve his condition so he becomes well enough to stand trial......... only to be sent to the gallows. Save a person, only to send him to die. See, ironic.

The poor man must have mental health issues. He needs some therapy and some meds, he will be fine given the right treatment. Best thing is to put it all in the past. Pretend it never happened.
