Good thing Trump politicized covid, in an attempt to prevent his one-trick-pony economy from crashing, right?

Too bad it crashed anyways.

“We try to convince people, but it is almost like you are talking a different language," he lamented. “There is no way they are going to get a vaccine. Their personal freedom is more important."

As usual, the basket of deplorables dragging everybody down. Just another day in the dumbest democracy on Earth.

The problem in Missouri, as health experts see it: Just 45% of the state's residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine, compared with 55% of the U.S. population.

I thought it was because of “libs”, but it was plain old science all along. Who’d have thunk it? Well, I know who wouldn’t’ve.

A red state half-full of anti-vaxxers battling a resurgence of COVID?! No way. I’m absolutely shocked.

Only 30% of African Americans in Missouri have gotten the vaccine. They account for 46% of Missouri's largest city St. Louis. It is a blue city. What happened there?

Well at least those who died didn't die because of the vaccine. They went out on their own terms.

Any Data on why African Americans are reluctant to get the jab? There’s the problem right there. They must fit in that category of “deplorables” Deplorables title made up by a politician of all people. wanting more info and data doesn’t make one uneducated, I’d say looking at governments and big corporations past anyone would be wise to look deeper before making any decisions in the personal choices

Eric, lots of African Americans are reluctant. Historically, experimental vaccines were used on them.

Regardless, all high risk people should get it. For them, the risk of getting seriously ill from the vaccine is lower than getting seriously ill from COVID.

The government just made rapper Juvenile put out a song called "Vaxxx That Thing Up" full of women, money and fixed up cars talking. That is basically their approach that African Americans only do things if they get sex and material things in exchange.

All depends on how you massage the data. Missouri is showing an average of exactly ONE covid death per day for the past week. New York is in the 9 or 10 range. In May the average in Missouri was about 5 or 6 per day, New York was in the 30-50 range. So trying to portray Missouri as in the midst of a deadly crisis is not accurate.

Seems the new variant, like so many other viruses before it, is more contageous but less lethal. So we can more safely ignore it. Let the vulnerable get vaccinated, and the reluctant get on with their lives.

Oh, and before I forget, the California death rate per day is in the 20-30 range, throughout June. May was 30-60 per day.

Hungry- just looked at Missouri data and COVID deaths are NOT going up, in fact the trend is down. Fake news article here.
