This is part of what is expected, fortunately people that invest their own sense of self-esteem on conspiracy theories will never accept logic or reason, be it with vaccines or any other thing, are a tiny minority; while people that feel unnecessary anxiety and are simply hesitant are much more numerous but still can be reached with proper information and making things easier for them.

The real problem in America is the politicization of science, this is what can make people to not vaccinate because science itself is seen as the enemy. As long as this problem is not solved it will be very difficult to vaccinate a significant part of the people that remain irrationally against immunizations, masks, or anything else that is hold as beneficial by science.

What are they going to do with the 40% of the population who refuse to be vaccinated?

And what are they going to do with the 10% to 45% of the vaccinated people who are in fact still like all other unvaccinated, because the vaccines did not work by that percentage? Yes, you bet it, they will get full eased restrictions and spread the viruses or get infected at mass gatherings, while the unvaccinated are stigmatized and still have to abide to restrictions.

I can tell you MANY Blacks are leery of the vaccine, for good historical reasons. Others, regardless of political affiliation, are wary of a rushed vaccine.

Biden and the CDC need a simple and clear message: get vaccinated, get rid of the masks. This will get the maximum amount of people vaccinated as quickly as possible.

Confusing, inconsistent messaging has not helped.

Japan's handling of this is truly shameful. Japan was never a particularly attractive place to come if you are a professional with a good job, but now I feel this will really hurt the prospects of attractive top talent. I know I would not make this decision again.

Is all nice and all, but people are clearly blinded by this so called positive news. You all know that US still has around 6million active covid cases right? And the average daily infection rate is still in the 30k-40k. I am only convince that their efforts are paying off once those infection numbers drop to double digits.

basically nothing, plus side is there are million of vaccines that can now be shipped to other countries that want to take it, also plus is that those that refuse to take it wont likely be allowed to travel to countries that require vaccinations, keeping the pandemic alive and well in their little corners of America

Find a way to distribute vaccine through our water supply or through bottled water. It would save billions and speed up the administering process.
