Having experienced Apartheid, South Africans know racism and injustice well.

What's telling is that there are several conflicts happening in the world today.

South Africa is only accusing 1 country of attempting to commit genocide.

South Africa does not consider any other country to be guilty of it.

Yes we know SA turns a blind eye to atrocities in Ukraine as do many other countries. The whole Putin war is an atrocity.

Please look up an instagram user motaz_azaiza. You will see DAILY the kids with half their skulls blown apart by the IDF, innocent women with children sniped on the street. The carnage by the IDF is out of this world! It has to stop. It HAS TO STOP. Israel should completely be held accountable. Look for yourself at the instagram and its clear to see. Yesterday I saw a boy, maybe 13 years old, having to pick up strips of flesh and guts off the street and put it into a plastic bag. This is insanity. The world is sick of Israel's lies.

The present round of genocide against Palestinians is too flagrant, and lasting too long, for the usual blind eye/benefit of the doubt pressures to get in the way of an official finding of guilt, without it shattering all the pretence of fairness and fact based rulings.

And while the ICJ itself has no enforcement power, the ruling can be cited by a lot of the world as justifying measures against the Israeli regime, including excluding it from all international sports etc.

And the ruling against Israel also will make it hard not to rule against the US for the same charges.

Someone from Argentina who never set foot on that land can just pack his stuff and move there and become a citizen just because he is Jewish. That's what happens when Hamas bombs hospitals and schools in Gaza, and uses civilians as human shields.

Here is the problem with Israel's claim.

Before October 7th 2023 Israel government forces had killed more than 10 times the number of Palestinians mostly civilians than all Palestinians and neighbouring Arabs had killed Israelis, just from 2009 to October 7th Israeli government forces killed over 6,000 Palestinians and Israel's own numbers show in that same period fewer than 400 Israelis were killed.

On top of that West Bank settlers have killed anoth few thousand Palestinians including over 600 in 2023 alone.

Even if we add in those Israelis killed on and since October 7th 2023 and ignore the 23,000 Palestinians killed after the number of Palestinians killed by Israel is still 8 times that of Israelis killed.

A 10 to 1 ratio of Palestinians being killed long before October 7th doesn't back Israel's claim it is only defending itself.

Not to mention the over 6000 illegal kidnapping of Palestinians at any given time held by Israel without charges, without lawyer, without charges in secret prisons.

Over 1000 of those 6,000 killed between 2009 and October 7th were from the West Bank not Gaza, 2,500 were during non conflicts, and not a single illegal settler was ever arrested for the killings and taking of Palestinian land in the West Bank.

Israel agreed to keep the settlements at 114 under Oslo but is now at 279 and expanding using force and the IDF to back up illegal settlers.

So unless Israel has a sudden death toll of israelis it isn't telling us about the evidence doesn't fit it's claim but the evidence Israel is slowly but surely exterminating Palestinians is clearly evident.

The other elephant in the room is how many Israelis were killed by tank shelling, gunship rockets and other heavy munitions? All these unanswered questions and more cast doubts on the Israeli version of events that have served as powerful tool of propaganda and gaslighting and a pretext to launch a pitiless bombing campaign against a civilian population so unprecedented in its vicious inhumanity that the Israeli government and its enablers must now answer to charges of genocide and myriad war crimes.

You complain about the "hostages" taken by Hamas, while Israel kidnapped thousands every year in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza holds them illegally in blackhole prisons against all international law for months even years holds secret trials in a few cases and violates every single UN resolution!

Israel has expanded illegal settlements by over 165 in the West Bank.

The total of everything Israel has done including comments made by you trying to call the native Arab population "settlers" as some way of claiming they are not the original inhabitants, is a clear indication the goal is to remove all Arabs !

Israel and you point to its human rights score 77 out of a hundred but you both ignore the rest of the report.

If the report is separated into Jews and Arab citizens then it is 90 out of 100 for Jewish citizens and 30 out of a 100 for its Arab citizens.

Its score regarding the occupied territories is 6 out of a hundred!
