Obviously being "humane and progressive" was more important to the EU than protecting its own people. As long as the EU stays that tolerant, more extremists will blow up in our faces.

You reap what you sow. This could have been foreseen (and it was by the so-called racists and bigots) and prevented.

I'm sick of the current Germany. I'm sick of the current EU. I'm sick of all the leftists and their white guilt.

If that makes me a racist and/or a bigot, then I will gladly accept that label.

At this point, I just want to see my family and countrymen safe. Should this safety come at the expense of people seeking asylum, then so be it.

"Backlash against Muslims is exactly what the jihadist want."

The various government policies that turned a suburb of Brussels into a "hotbed of Jihadiism" are exactly what the Jihadis want.

"And the right, being stupid, play right into it."

The policies we are taking about are mainly being pushed by the left.

It is all fault of the European and north American governments that are risking the lives of their own people for their political games. Daesh loudly and clearly told them what they are planing to do and how will they do it and yet this criminals playing politics are ignoring it and allowing infiltration of Daesh terrorists in to all of our countries. They are so obsessed with toppling Assad and with import of cheap labor that they will risk lives of their own citizens to satisfy their obsession.

Ok, that's two White people. But who are the majority of the people that are trying to kill us? First of all they are not White and they are not Christian.

Political violence doesn't emerge in a vacuum.

Why did the jihadis become so powerful, @Bass?

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Well I don't think anyone supports taking the gun nutter's position on school shootings and applying it to terrorism.

Don't say anyone. You don't speak for everyone and at the rate this is going, at least in the US, gun sales will go up once again, but you just won't see the style of terror attacks in the States at the rate you are now seeing in Europe because it's easier for these guys to get popped compared to Europe, although, I can imagine, some people will try to find a way to purchase a firearm if they can. You keep the borders open, you don't profile these people, you will see these attacks increase with great severity.

I think the problem is that people want something to be done but they don't know what it is exactly.

Well there are many things that you can do. the Europeans should consult Israel more and their intelligence community. They profile, scrutinize, double check, pull people aside, they are not worried about being PC, they can't afford that luxury. If Europe and even the States would adopt these harsher tactics, you would see less attacks, not eliminate them, but significantly diminish the threats.

What we need to stop are hot-headed positions that aren't clearly thought out, like carpet bombing and the logistically impossible ban on Muslims.

See, I disagree. Yes, it may seem to some has racist, but the people that are doing this are Muslims, that doesn't mean all Muslims do this of course not, but because of this PC nonsense, the Jihadists exploit this critical social flaw. One thing they can do is fingerprint everyone that leaves the country, build a database, get rid of the visa waiver program, infiltrate the mosques, break up these ghettos that are in many European cities that's a start right there.

We need intelligent responses, not dog whistles for white trash.

Sadly, there are and have been a lot of responses, but most of Europe and many liberals still don't take this seriously and that is sad. You don't have to be a war monger, you just have to deal with reality, the situation is worsening and people don't take this seriously, we all lose.

And, of course, as President, he would never talk that way. Its just slop for the pig-ignorant wannabe tough guys. And they slop it up.

But Obama has never taken any action, all talk, it's always been that way with this guy, great on speech rhetoric and empty on promises.

After detonating an ammonium nitrate bomb in downtown Oslo—killing eight people— Anders Breivik shot dead 69 more, in July 2011, ten years after Timothy McVeigh killed 168 in Oklahoma.

Ok, that's two White people. But who are the majority of the people that are trying to kill us? First of all they are not White and they are not Christian.

I prefer describing terrorists by their ideology rather than their race.

I understand, but let's deal with reality, what are the races or where do most of these Jihadists come from? You have to factor in race. This is what gets me about the left, they will quickly stereotype conservative Whites as racist, but are extremely cautious and PC about calling people or identifying Non-White and Muslims and the majority of people from the Middle East by race.

Oh, the hypocrisy. Ok, how about this, the majority of radical Jihadists are not White. Let's call it for what it really is and NOT doing so is racist.

"There’s nothing wrong with MarkG’s descriptions unless you prefer political correctness to reality."

I prefer describing terrorists by their ideology rather than their race. I wouldn't have described the already mentioned IRA by their race. I wouldn't describe Boko Harem by their race. Neither would I have described the Aum terrorists by their race.

I just think it's more useful to talk about ideology rather than race in these instances.

Thank you Japan for doing what the rest of the world is too scared to do. Keep those borders on lockdown!

Yeah, white people are above that.

The statute of limitations on islamic political correctness is over. It is a losing proposition to prioritize their religious terrorists over everyone else's public safety.

Are you saying that the French and British are "pig-ignorant wannabe tough guys."? My My My........ I would have thought better of them than that, what with their sophisticated world view and all.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

choiwaruoyaji......Or maybe they could all go and live in wonderful Saudi Arabia. A good suggestion!

EU politicians should start thinking and implementing instead of rolling out the red carpet and hurts its own citizens by terrorists bend on hatred and killing and destroying others. Citizens are living in fear and concern; its plain crazy.

Besides Saudi Arabia to go and live, there are Iran, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Turkey, Yemen, UAE, Syria, Oman, Qatar, Afghanistan, etc. Huge lands, why go to Europe? Live among themselves and sort it out among themselves.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

"Terrorism in Europe certainly didn't start with the 2004 Madrid bombings or "Bus explosion England".

True, but the Muslim terror attacks are boosting the killings and terror to a new scale. Nearly 200 in Madrid, 60 in London with 700 injured. The worst IRA attack was 21. Not in the same league.

"Ted Cruz's statement "We need to empower law enforcement to patrol and secure Muslim neighbourhoods"

The FRench and British and others are already doing this. Many European Muslim neighborhoods are under 24 hr electronic surveillance by the state security apparatus. In France, this includes nearly every Jewish institution, including primary schools, especially after a Muslim killed some kids at one. No wonder homeland security budgets are skyrocketing.

Ah, the vibrancy of Europe's multiculturalism!

0 ( +4 / -4 )

These are the kinds of thick skulled "solutions" we need to fight against.

Well, yeah.

And, of course, as President, he would never talk that way. Its just slop for the pig-ignorant wannabe tough guys. And they slop it up.

Here the deal: We in the US just don't have the kind of Muslim ghettos like those in Belgium and France. In fact, most of Europe doesn't have those kind of ghettos. Its a problem specific to primarily Belgium and France.

Because those kind of cells are familial bases, counter-terrorism there requires the cooperation from those communities. Every counter-terror expert knows this.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

Ted Cruz's statement "We need to empower law enforcement to patrol and secure Muslim neighbourhoods before they become radicalised"

He's talking about America. These are the kinds of thick skulled "solutions" we need to fight against.

My condolences to the victims and the people of Belgium and the EU.

Everybody could sense that something dreadful was about to happen but it's still a far cry for makiing any sense of this tragic and loss of life.

"Arab ghettos do not breed this western hate. As we saw in USA on 9/11 was very comfortable Arabs who just hate western culture and frequenting strip clubs enjoying themselves until......"

Not all Arabs are Islamists. Not all Arabs are Muslims. Use the right descriptions.

Jimizo;

To be fair, all of the 9/11 hijackers were affiliated with al-qaeda so that would make them Islamists. And seeing how all of the hijackers were Islamists it is a given that they were Muslim. Of the 19 9/11 hijackers, 15 were Saudis, 2 were from the UAE and one each from Lebanon and Egypt. I think it’s safe to say that they were Arabs. From what I’ve read about them it would appear that most of them did have a comfortable lifestyle in their home countries as well as in the countries were they planned their attack. Mohammed Atta was well known to the prostitutes in Angeles City in the Philippines, while he and other co-conspirators frequented strip clubs in Las Vegas, San Francisco and in Florida.

There’s nothing wrong with MarkG’s descriptions unless you prefer political correctness to reality.

Super Lib:

" I think the problem is that people want something to be done but they don't know what it is exactly. "

Protecting the borders and deporting Wahabi hate preachers is not rocket science. Countries like Turkey and Azerbeijan show what constitutional amendments are needed to keep a lid on islamist doctrine.

But applying that would mean the Euro politicians would have to drop some their fuzzy-wuzzy PC ideas. And THAT is the problem.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

bass: So in other words, you think we should just sweep up the bodies, and tell ourselves we are better than that and hope for the best that we don't hit again

2 ( +2 / -0 )

@laguna

"Interesting how terror bombings by Muslims are quite rare in America but increasingly common in Europe, while gun massacres by white Americans are quite common, whereas Europeans seldom commit such acts."

You are ignoring demographics. US muslim population minuscule compared to Europe, and you don´t have the direct land bridge. Besides, some of your bombings were rather spectacular (WTC twice, Boston, etc). Also, European jihadis do use guns; check on the various Paris and Eurotunnel attacks. And what in the world is this "white" stuff about? Skin color has nothing to do this.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Well, the Eurocrats insisted on bringing the Middle East with its ideology into Europe. Now they have it in Europe, so they will have to live with it. There will be plenty more of of incidents like this now.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Hillary had a short interview. Around her left eye, makeup was not good. But she spoke with her regular voice. She mentioned she will work with all people to try to cope ISIS problems when asked about Trump.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Who cares? They're all "radical" and their loyalty (in one way or another) is with ISIS or that "extreme" element. Guarantee -they weren't no White-Europeans blowing up other fellow Europeans. Those barbaric atrocities can only be attributed to none other than "Radical Isam."

I agree. At the end of the day, when the carnage is over, what is important is the result of how violent radical Islam is.

Go ahead and shout "ISLAMIC RADICAL TERRORISM" all you want - it might make you feel big and tough and good and all but only works to attract and embolden those susceptible - i.e., it is stupidly counterproductive.

I really don't believe that crap. This moral argument, we are so much better than the terrorists. Of course we are, that's obvious. The main issue is, what are we going to do about it. Either way, sooner or later, we will all go to war to eradicate these Jihadists.

But go ahead: perhaps sometimes its better to react idiotically than to concoct an effective response. Not sure about what "this" is in Cruz' second tweet, but it could mean he expects terrorist attacks to vanish when he utters the magic phrase "ISLAMIC RADICAL TERRORISM."

No, he basically calls it for what it is, something that Obama in his twisted head just won't do and you wonder why the people like Trump? "Islamic radical terrorists" is what they are.

That, or (more likely), the measured, rational approach to dealing with it.

Make NO mistake, Cruz would go after them in a heartbeat.

<Backlash against Muslims is exactly what the jihadist want. And the right, being stupid, play right into it.

So in other words, you think we should just sweep up the bodies, and tell ourselves we are better than that and hope for the best that we don't hit again, we just have to get used to dealing with group of people that want to destroy us and yearn everyday that the people come to their senses. Sometimes in order to keep the peace, you might have to go to war.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

What I am worried about above all... more than further terrorist attacks, more than jihadiists running amok over Europe... is the possible backlash against the muslim communities in Belgium and elsewhere.

It must be so terrible for the muslims, they might get some angry stares or a bit of graffiti on the mosque...

Forget that people have been blown up, killed and maimed... the backlash is much worse!

In fact, we should bring over more muslims so these communities do not feel in any way marginalized...

1 ( +5 / -4 )

Or maybe they could all go and live in wonderful Saudi Arabia.

Exactly! Why do they chose London, Paris, Brussels, NY, Chicago?? They're WAY better off on Jakarta, Al Raqqa, Mecca, Medina, Tehran etc. etc. Why bother with the west??

-1 ( +5 / -6 )

I suspect we will find that the attackers were second- or third-generation Europeans, not part of the recent group of immigrants.

Total nonsense. The Paris attacks were by people who came on boats via Greece.

This is what happens when you let hundreds of thousands to enter the EU and then are allowed to travel freely with no checks over numerous borders under the cover of being "refugees".

As I predicted when Time's Person of the Year's no-questions-asked policy to allow any and all "refugees" to flood into her country was announced, this is just the beginning of many attacks that will be carried out by radical Islamic terrorist organizations like "the JV team" ISIS who can so easily travel through Europe undetected like so many already have.

Welcome to the globalists' multiculturalism utopia. . . .

2 ( +9 / -7 )

I think there is a lot of hatred taught in mosques...

Hatred for Jews, hatred for Americans, hatred for the West, hatred for western law, hatred for non-believers...

It may not be explicit, especially if the mosque thinks it is being infiltrated by security services, but it is going on there behind the scenes...

Muslims need to address the problems in their mosques.

Or maybe they could all go and live in wonderful Saudi Arabia.

Lots of empty talk here about rates and incidents of Islamic Terrorism.

Again. Lots flat-out denial. How many more terror strikes in Europe before you will call it what it actually is?? London, Madrid, Paris x's 2, Belgium.

How many more Sky Scrapers will fall or be targeted before we call it what it actually is?

Why are posters not recognizing, "radical islam" is @work here? And some say the "hate-crew" Trump supporters are dangerous. (sheesh . . )

And (soon2bhistory.com) Obama will NOT recognize "radical islam." Sometimes I wish Michelle wore the pants. More resolve instead of retreat.

-1 ( +6 / -7 )

Back to TV and.found Trump explaining to a moderator his method of interrogating suspects of terrorist.

New report... ISIS claimed they are.responsible on this blast. In Arizona, all candidates are explaining how to deal with immigration problem. In some countries, they don't accept immigrants. They don't care they are called racist country. Example Japan

The time may come soon when Europe starts putting their naturalised muslims into internment

Internment of Catholics in Northern Ireland in the early 1970s was a huge recruiting tool for the IRA.

deport them to a big Gitmo style camp on an island very far from any land mass

Right. Gitmo's been an outstanding success, too. For those radicalising impressionable youth, that is.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

No, I'm quite serious. Perhaps there is a sense of entitlement - whether being a male Muslim in Europe or a male white in America - with a corresponding sense that what should be the social respect due by their birth has been denied them. A sense of impotent rage.

I suspect we will find that the attackers were second- or third-generation Europeans, not part of the recent group of immigrants. Human behavior experts must research the connections to better understand triggers and preventive measures.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

Political correctness means nothing anymore, we are at war and the enemy has infiltrated and lives next door. Start profiling the obvious persons, investigate them, question them, deport them to a big Gitmo style camp on an island very far from any land mass.

while gun massacres by white Americans are quite common

OHH Christ! Don't pull that crap now Laguna. You're better that that.. (I'll wear the shoe -senseless shootings in US) but let's look at Belgium -on the highest alert. The city is on lock-down. Lives have been lost.

Again, welcome to the "new" Europe. I'm worried about Germans now. A. Merkel has screwed the pooch.

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

Interesting how terror bombings by Muslims are quite rare in America but increasingly common in Europe, while gun massacres by white Americans are quite common, whereas Europeans seldom commit such acts. Perhaps there is a sense of marginalization felt by both segments of European Muslims and American white males.

Of maybe the radical Jihadists are scared of all those White people knowing that in the States, they can match the fire power of the Radicals with their own guns. You may not like guns, but in a situation like this, it is a strong, very strong deterrent.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Another shocking attack. When you think about it, it would be quite easy for a group of nutjobs to bring some big, bomb-filled suitcases to an airport, pick some crowded check-in lines and then detonate them simultaneously before even getting to the counter. This would all be before any security check at all. If you have a hundred people waiting in a line that snakes around, and four or five suicide bombers each lining up in different lines, it would kill or injure a lot of people. Makes me think that Tokyo may have been quite smart as they check (or at least used to check) all vehicles arriving at Narita. Not sure if this is done at other airports around the world but, thanks to these crazies, it probably will become the norm.

These radical Jihadists see and take full advantage of the weakness of Europe and the US to go out and to launch attacks with impunity knowing that NO ONE has the will or fortitude take on this radicals.

NO ONE has that fortitude. So correct bass. Look at Metro LA. The police swarming the stations and asking the public (as well) to be vigilant. Hope common sense throws out all that "political correctness" crap and reports ANY suspicious activity.

. . . . kind of like Tashfeen Malik's neighbors (Redlands, CA) who were "afraid" of reporting their activity . . . for fear of being labeled as "racists" or "racial profiling." Its nonsense. Pure nonsense-

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

Islamist terrorism in Europe and elsewhere is horrific, but I don't intend to ever play down the threat we had to live with before they appeared on the scene. The number of attacks was high, and Irish Republican groups killed civilians in England without a second thought.

No one is saying that, you should go on with your life and daily routine, but the attacks are increasing and with more severity and bringing on more casualties and all of Europe and the US need to come together, pull their resources together and go after, cripple and kill the radical Islamists, denying it as random acts and keeping our heads in the sands will not contain or fix the situation. These radical Jihadists see and take full advantage of the weakness of Europe and the US to go out and to launch attacks with impunity knowing that NO ONE has the will or fortitude take on this radicals.

I hope obama (in Cuba) comes out blasts "radical islam." At least Trump sees it clearly. These attacks just boost the Right and damage the "Left." The rainbow worshipers. The hippy-liberal unicorn crowd who "were" pro-muslim / pro-refugee (migrating) to Europe etc. . . . . the posters who are silent now.

. . . . Ohh the crickets are chirping (on this thread) on this sad night in Belgium.

Exactly! This has nothing to do with current European legislation on immigration. Also, whilst I do not in any way condone Merkel's recent decisions on immigration, this has nothing to do with her.

The time may come soon when Europe starts putting their naturalised muslims into internment camps with their non-national muslims being deported.

Other than this fact, go to Morocco or Algeria where most of the generational terror pool are coming from and talk to the locals as I have. They don't consider them Arabs; even less want to take them back....

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

A witness said he heard shouts in Arabic shortly before two blasts struck the packed airport departure lounge.

Of course. It'd be more of a news if people heard "Oi vey".

At this point, even the most ardent defenders of the doctrine of Islam have to acknowledge that something is very wrong. Many other ethnic and religious minorities have suffered injustices. Still many others have reached out to western Europe in hopes of a better life. But it is the members a particular "fraternity" that show this sort of proclivity for violence. I understand the urge to believe that religion is not to blame, that somehow geopolitics drives these people to do what they do. But at the same time, we have square that argument with the reality that other minority/migrant communities do not engage in such barbaric activities.

Europe has a simple choice. Either acknowledge the reality, and fix what is broken. Or stay in denial, and perish.

the question of why this monotheism in particular seems to create more people willing to murder innocent civilians in its name more than others at this moment in time

A lot of possible answers I guess. But being in your 20s in a culture where sex out of marriage is forbidden, alcohol is forbidden, and becoming a Buddhist is forbidden doesn't sound like a healthy lifestyle for serious-minded people. While some may learn to cope, should we be surprised that it throws up a fair number of oddballs who can rationalize the virtue of murder and suicide?

I think you make some very valid points madverts but as valid as they may be they still don't explain nor justify why young people want to blow themselves in public areas.

I'm justifying nothing. Certainly not the misery vomited up by these nut cases.

I can't agree with you though when you speak of "Institutional racism? Denial of a brutal colonial past?" in france.

I'm guessing you're French hence the Denial. Yes, the brutal colonial past. Que la France a fait a l'Algérie mon ami. Forcing brother to fight brother au grand coup de pied au fesse. And all that a mere ten years after France's own suffering during the second world war. Twenty years I've lived here and I've never understood how the French did that after what they went through.

I agree that some migrants are discriminated against by some employers (like in many other countries) but whats imo more important is that "nanny state France' has allowed them to live in hiding and not work for far too long. Nothing better than work to make you feel part of a society and imo france's overly generous social system has to bear a lot of responsibility for the situation we are in today.

Hear, hear to that. I have a business here and they have both hands in my pockets to pay for the crumbling nanny state. France will have to collapse before the madness ends and I have to wonder how far away that can be.

Finally do you really think French ppl are more anti English than say English are anti-frogs? good old banter if you ask me.

Probably pretty similar. Idiots seem to be in the majority everywhere I go - I speak without an accent and use the local patois - not many rosbifs like that yet I'm still known as the "Englishman"...

Why stupid leftists don't understand this simple thing?

My ancestors have spilled their blood to stop Middle Eastern armies from invading Europe and torturing and slaughtering Europeans. It is a shame that our kindness and hospitality have been repaid this way.

I agree, but this is all the more reason to be vigilant and identify radical Islam for what it is, acknowledge it and do everything possible to stop it or at least make it as difficult as possible to thwart an attack.

Fundamentalists believe that statements characterized by strict adherence to beliefs in the literal sense interpreted in religious texts.

The rigid adherence to those principles is of paramount importance to enforce the strict conformity to these so called sacred texts.

Now let's take this theology a step further  introducing a political dimension in the form of twenty first century liberal democracy protecting the 'rights of the individual, which are generally enshrined in law'.

The result is the very principles are completely opposite to the teaching of Islam meaning submission to the will of God...What is left is anarchy.

And it's long been a remarkably popular country among immigrants of a wide variety of races from around the world. I guess they've all been duped, eh? It's funny how they don't...um... leave.

Anyway, we're talking about Belgium, which has had a pro-active welcoming policy toward Muslim immigrants. The mayor of Molenbeek since the 80s created an antecedent of the Merkel doctrine. And sadly, the country it's reaping what it has sown from that shortsighted policy...which is now Germany's destiny.

Yet another attack doesn’t come as a surprise I guess. And worse, there isn’t much that can be done. They could start with closing the damned borders again though. Some of the people that pulled off that attack in Paris last year, had been moving freely between European countries and that hell hole they call the caliphate. And take a flame thrower to the areas where these people have been and are hiding. That Abdeslam fellow they caught in Brussels the other day, had been seen on several occasions by people from the same community, but nobody came forward. Put them in jail too or better, send them back to where they came from. At any rate, stop with that political correct pandering to these people.

I think you make some very valid points madverts but as valid as they may be they still don't explain nor justify why young people want to blow themselves in public areas.

I can't agree with you though when you speak of "Institutional racism? Denial of a brutal colonial past?" in france.

Finally do you really think French ppl are more anti English than say English are anti-frogs? good old banter if you ask me.

Islamist terrorists and their world-wide terrorism have to be stopped. This brutal violence on anybody is plain cruel and crazy. EU has been too soft and unwise. Terrorists should be sentenced to capital punishment and be caned severely. EU entertaining millions of illegal Muslim migrants is playing with fire. They should be deported to their home countries asap. Only legal migrants through official channels should be entertained. The message needs to be singular and strong. Germany Merkel has not studied history. Turkey & Greece are and will be serving as a Trojan Horse into EU for much more trouble and violence in years to come.

Train explosion Spain, Bus explosion England, Attack Charlie Hebdou, Man's head that was cut off in the UK, Attack in Paris and now Belgium. Im sure I've missed a couple. Related or not, the amount of terrorist attacks is on the rise in a rapid speed.

And all the same EU supports extremists in Syria

And promised lot of money to Erdogan (best friend of IGIL) just before explosions...

I'm not sure what your point is Jeff? Most Vietnamese returned to Vietnam after the war. Hardly 10 percent of the population.

Obviously muslim radicals vomitted this up. Tough talk alone clearly is doing nothing about several generations marginlized in the ghettos. Most 4 th génération French arabs do not consider themselves French. I'm sure the situation is similar in Belgium.

I'm all ears as to how we should tackle that...

"I take your first point but I think the roots of this are a lot deeper than living in ghettos."

"Where do you want to start? Institutional racism? Denial of a brutal colonial past? "

I'm certainly not denying racism or supporting denial of historical fact. I just have questions that I keep raising and nobody has given me satisfactory answers to.

I like to start with the question of why this monotheism in particular seems to create more people willing to murder innocent civilians in its name more than others at this moment in time. Do only members of this particular faith live in poor areas? Do only these people suffer from discrimination?

Am I an 'Islamophobe' for even entertaining these thoughts?

".... France need to deal with the ghettos they've been in Denial about the last forty years."

Plenty of Vietnamese refugees have lived in the banileue and went on be affluent and upward mobile. it's always people who follow a certain creed who end up bombing planes, airports and rock concerts. Or maybe that's just a coincidence, eh.

The football euro comp which will be held in france in June is going to be a logistical nightmare.

And there is no imminent solution am afraid. Europe is a terrorists' heaven (no pun intended).

I take your first point but I think the roots of this are a lot deeper than living in ghettos.

Where do you want to start? Institutional racism? Denial of a brutal colonial past? France isn't really the topic, the Belgians have clearly also been trying to ignore the problem.

My ancestors have spilled their blood to stop Middle Eastern armies from invading Europe and torturing and slaughtering Europeans. It is a shame that our kindness and hospitality have been repaid this way.

Laptop_Warrior Mar. 22, 2016 - 05:44PM JST This is an attack on a NATO member. What are the dithering heads of state going to do this time?. Maybe a few smart bombs on ISIS sites?

What do you suggest, bombing European ghettos?

Cowardly terrorists are like hunting certain rodents. They can be be very hard to eliminate.

Multiple metro stations. Maalbeek and Shuman. Near the EU HQ.

I just read that too. Looks like the Belgian secret service have dropped a bollocks. Again.

Now another explosion at a Brussels Metro station near the EU offices

BFMTV is reporting that witnesses heard someone yell something in Arabic immediately before the first explosion. No word yet on exactly what that was, but I think we can guess.

@thunderbird: Thats what im saying, attacks are following up in a more rapid tempo. Here is a good overview timeline:

The recent raids in Belgium must have got the 'bots desperate to implode themselves or face capture and babbling like a mountain stream like the 'bot they caught Last week.

I think the authorities are being to lenient with their familles and associates. They're obviously involved they need rounding up.

But more importantly Europe, notably France need to deal with the ghettos they've been in Denial about the last forty years. We can't tackle the bad weeds without Killing the roots.

They're now saying 11 dead, more injured.

Papigiulio the London bus bomb was 2005. Lee Rigby's murder was also a couple of years ago, 2013. The Spanish train was 2004. Charlie Hebdou was last year... that's a 12 year span... yes too many attacks but rapid speed?

Belgian firefighters said it was indeed a terrorist attack, im afraid to point fingers. However the situation in Europe is getting worse and worse. Let check back:

Train explosion Spain, Bus explosion England, Attack Charlie Hebdou, Man's head that was cut off in the UK, Attack in Paris and now Belgium. Im sure I've missed a couple. Related or not, the amount of terrorist attacks is on the rise in a rapid speed.

There was no immediate official comment on the cause of the attack.

The usual suspects no doubt.
