Do the hustle
I don’t mind Facebook advertising. It has helped me find many products and network with many companies
On the the other hand, Amazon drives me nuts! I had chosen to receive emails about deals, but the only deals they sent me were on products I had already bought. What is that all about? It’s just bloody stupid!

Internet started idealistic and free. Only a matterof time before it became weapon of war and different players found ways to capitalise.
Little imagination has been required to find something to do with all that data.
Just another point where regulators are playing catch-up ... till the next time and next way that players get out of hand

When you buy off Rakuten you end up with a ton of spam mail even if you op out. Got my spam down to less than 10-20/day which goes into the junk folder.

You forgot to check the boxes at the bottom of the purchase screen. You can stop them though. There is a link at the bottom of each junk mail to stop receiving them. You might need a native to walk you through it though coz, in typical Japanese style, it's not just a one click scenario.
Amazon has only been in Australia for a year or so. My guess is, one the politicians got p'd off by the spam and has created a task force to suit himself.

I do that and also unsubscribe but they still come. Had another one today. I have no problem with Rakuten site which is more junk than Amazon site.

Couldn't come soon enough. Here's hoping other countries follow. These social networks have done more to destroy innocence in children than world war 2.

Tech titans. Only about 2 decades or so ago, google was just an office with a few guys on laptops. It's amazing how fast they grew.
