Another negative Nelly who cant see the positive's. People are alive because of the lock down. People have been financially supported by the government. Nobody has gone hungry, and nobody has been kicked out of their homes. The economy will restart on Wednesday and life will go on.

Good job Melbourne!

Sure about that? The Reserve Bank today issued a preliminary finding that the Aus economy has likely emerged out of recession, with the report due later in the year. The RBA stated the Melbourne lockdown impacted less than expected.

Totally. They sure have earned the right to "get on the beers" or whiskies, its been a tough few months. I think most people in Aus are now cautiously optimistic. Sadly, Im less optimistic about a few of our friends in the Northern Hemisphere with winter approaching.

Do you notice how the media and politicians have completely switched to "cases" from deaths?

As treatments have emerged and the virus has attenuated (as they always do), hardly anybody is dying from this, and the vast majority of infected do not even notice they have it. Yet, the panic must be kept up. At this point, it is purely a political project.

Notice that the WHO has pretty much admitted that:

Just follow the advice of the US President. If you don't test you don't have any Covid-19 cases. Right?

The number of cases in the US has been rising for the past several weeks. And not surprisingly just today the CDC reported the number of deaths in the US is also increasing. It usually requires a couple of weeks from initial infection for Covid-19 to finally kill them. Now we are seeing the death rate follow the infection rate as both climb.

So?

You act as if it's a cold, where after it's gone it's done with.
