after testing negative but later tested positive in Melbourne

Exactly what I said here many times, but people here said it is nonsens.

But I repeat it again:

A negative test result is just valid for the moment.

At once after the test, or even during the test, you can get infected and being positiv.

Thats why I dont understand why people always scream for tests.

Thats why I dont understand why people always scream for tests.

Let me help you then. Testing allows positive cases to be identified so that people can isolate and prevent spreading the virus.

Please consider both possible results of a test and then I think you may be able to understand.

You test 100000 people.

50000 positiv, isolate them.

50000 negativ, not isolated.

One minute later all these negative 50000 people can get infected somewhere, and walk around positiv and spread the virus.

Which is why there is a lock down, contact tracing and constant testing so that cant happen.

hang in there, Aussies. Keep a lid on it and stay safe.

At these point, these Victorian lockdowns are a power play with very little relation to any health issue.
