Australia & France make 'new start' after submarine row:

The submarine fiasco did hit Macron hard, but he swallowed the insult after US intervention.

"Trust, respect & honesty matters," says Albanese to start anew.

Nothing matters, both are acting in accordance with US wish..

Do you care to explain how that works?

Care to document that claim? Or is it just more of the ad hominem that too often passes for comments on J-T? Please cite some evidence before making such broad brush claims. Surely there must be some evidence, an article somewhere in a reputable news source?

Morrison screwed up the relationship, Albanese is fixing it. That’s part of his job, and he’s doing it.

Assuming it seems that France has no interest in mending relations with Australia. I mean it is not as if both nations don't have economic and military interests in the Asia Pacific region (Tahiti, New Caledonia, etc.) that would benefit from cooperation.
