The Quad is an informal group that promotes an open Indo-Pacific

Finally Quad members realizes that country's debt ceiling really need be taking care of first, before anything else.

Wasn’t that important to begin with if they could just meet at the G7 a couple days prior.

Biden wanted to visit Papua New Guinea in route to show American love for the South Pacific for Cold War reasons and stuff.

Good news for traffic commuters in Sydney, as they will not have to endure road closures on main thoroughfares in Sydney where the US presidents motorcade travels. Always with the closures when a US president visits. Apart from the inconvieniance it always brings, we love it when a US president visits downunder.

Although to be fair there have been those we didnt want to visit us. Thankfully they didnt.

Americas domestic chaos once again becoming a hindrance to the strategy laid out for peace and stability in this volatile region. Even if Biden isn’t really at the helm, and how could he be, cancelling the first ever visit to an independent Pacific Island Nation at the 11th hour is not a good look. New Guinea will certainly be feeling it.

Ok, just as we suspected, they simply don't care.

Beijing will be happy about this, more breathing space to stick its own course, whisper in the right ears and play the long game. While the West is in disarray , the CCP gets to play. Onya Joe, top effort.

Maybe Albanese should take a trip up there in his stead, just as a sign as to who their friends really are.

No one should EVER have thought the Cold War was over. It started in 1917, after all.

Perhaps the repubs should stop hostage taking the US economy then.

The Australians are under no illusions that China is a friend. Just like you should be under no illusions that Russia is friend.

Big problem for the Quad's unprecedented Russian weapons proliferation to especially China and NK, part of their strategy to bolster this emerging alliance.

NK and China, clearly becoming much more advanced as result in areas of weapons delivery systems, whether ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, drones and one would assume hypersonic technologies etc.

No real defense to such offensive weapons if armed with WMDs, thus QUAD needs Much STRONGER Deterrence!

Another Cost and Risk of US NATO Ukraine Proxy War!

Another Cost and Risk of US NATO Ukraine Proxy War!

No one believes it was NATO that sent tanks and missiles into Ukraine. The Quad is partly there to keep cynical Russia in check.
