Australian politics is starting to sound more secretive, authoritarian and backward looking than the CCP. What is going on in Australia?

This is a story about the full and open process of the replacement of one party leader by a rival, after a lengthy period of intra-party dissatisfaction with the incumbent. No different to any other political power play in the rough, tough world of politics. It may be backward-looking, in that Joyce is a bona fide idiot and a former leader, but what is so secretive or authoritarian about it?

Its called the Westminster-style parliament. Leaders get ousted, and have for well over a century. Look it up.
