Not sure how this exactly links to Shaq. but he seems like a really decent human being so he gets the benefit of the doubt always.

Good on him.

To be perfectly honest, I’m having trouble establishing the link between Shaq and Indigenous rights in Australia, but nonetheless, great work and thank you, Shaq.

Indigenous voice - another waste of tax-payer money. It is nothing more than another lobby group, with no particular special powers. Why on earth would a referendum be needed?

Shaq. What a heart! This is champion in action..

as Blacklabel said, I fail to see why Shaq would be tapped for the job. But hey, he has the influence for it.

Why? Why is his voice more important than their own citizen's? Australia is losing the plot. No wonder it's quickly losing its great reputation.

As much as I like Shaq, I'm still thinking about just how he got to be a voice Down Under. Good luck with that though.

Not sure how this exactly links to Shaq.

“Indigenous Affairs Minister Linda Burney told the news conference that O'Neal had requested to be involved and described the mission for change as "a noble task."

Albanese said O'Neal, a four-time NBA champion, had a track record in the United States of working for social justice and "lifting people up who are marginalized."”

Just another PR stunt. he is only there because he gets paid to be there. "meet & greet" speaking engagements @ 90,000Y per person. Purely a staged event to improve the ego of Albanese.

Shaq is multi multi millionaire,

It never had one. The response to the COVID pandemic demonstrated to the rest of the world just how much of a nanny state it is.

Explain what a non indigenous knows about indigenous problems?

The USA treats the first Nation people like trash, of the minority groups in the USA to be more likely to have the least education the highest discrimination the first Nations top every category.

Seems to me that perhaps Australia it just paying lip service and a high profile star makes it look like they are doing something.

Canada has a far better track record, don't get me wrong, it is still terrible but far better than the USA,

It's governor general is Inuit, Canada has tried to make restitution and proper apologies.

Again far from perfect not even close, but if Australia really wants to do something then get a Canadian first Nations person that understands the issues facing indigenous people.

Got it, USA is bad. Everyone is good keep judging us by actions that were made over 200 years ago.

I guess you don't know history very well.

Try looking up pipeline through native land. Yep USA and Canada seem to think 8the best place to pass a pipeline they need but no one wants in their backyard is native land.

> Are you Ukranian? You claim to know a lot about them.

Are you and Red the same person?

Guess you got bored.

But I will ask you a few very simple questions I do not to make you work to hard.

Am I being paid as a consultant on Ukraine?

Is anyone recruiting me as an expert on Ukraine?

Is anyone recruiting me as an expert in first Nations?

No, no and no.

Why because there are better people including first Nations and indigenous people that are experts on the subject.

But your nose is bent out of shape over Ukraine and you need to lash out at someone, don't you?

Feel better now?

I would think Australians could do this themselves. Or maybe the PM can add it to his portfolio?

How about JLo, the Kardashians and Paris Hilton?
