There doing their best to change it!

Now that the coronavirus scare has subsided in Australia, they have to ramp up the fear on something else. If the virus doesn't kill you, the climate will.

LOL, yeah, we always need an excuse for more government powers.

Fires razed more than 11 million hectares (37 million acres) of bushland across the southeast early this year, killing at least 33 people and billions of native animals - a disaster that Prime Minister Scott Morrison called Australia's "black summer".

Many of these fires were deliberately lit, and exacerbated because local councils, egged on by environmentalists with little knowledge of forest management, and ignorant councils signing up to UN Agenda 21 and putting its recommendations into action, prevented controlled clearing of undergrowth and controlled burns during the off-season. This enabled the fires to spread quickly and very hot. The same has happened in California.

Read Behind the Green Mask by Rosa Koire to discover more about what goes on openly but without most people paying attention.

Is climate change a hoax created by the Chinese?

4 ( +6 / -2 )

I'm not saying it's a hoax, but I do think the fear factor is greatly exaggerated.

So, it is a problem.

What scientific sources are you using to make the claim it is greatly exaggerated?

How many of the doomsday predictions we've heard over the last 30 years have come even close to being true? And remember Climategate? You know, the one where it got out that these climate scientists couldn't find the evidence they were after that the Earth was warming at the rates they wanted to see so they were burying data that didn't conform to their worldview.

Who exactly are ‘these climate scientists’ you are talking about?

Are all of them up to this?

Why are they doing it?

Is someone pulling the strings here?

You are being a bit coy here. Give us the plot and cast.

Global Warming, when the scientists couldnt back up their claims they renamed it to climate change and sometimes sprinkled with the modern ice age term to balance it, and all relabeled and thrown back out into the public arena using the same old tactic of scare and control.

Like the weather man , rain with some sunshine with possibilty of some clouds, that way they covered their backsides.

It is the planet evolving, man cannot stop it and neither can the media.

One of those guys who tried to become a Presdient of the United States made billions out of it, anyone remember that guys name , been in the news lately like this other guy wanting to be president?

Al Gore and his movie and dribble.

So they have sold you on it then havent they?

Is climate change a hoax created by the Chinese?

No. What makes you think it is or we think it is?

P. Smith

No, they have convinced me with evidence based in science and facts

Reality check: Simplistic media talking points and political slogans do not equal "science and facts".

Could you post a link to where you get your science and facts from?

Thanks in advance.

I think it would be more appropriate to provide the basis for why you are convinced in something rather than ask for the basis for why the others aren't convinced.

They aren't convinced because they haven't seen the science that proves it.

So, show them.

Fair enough. So those who are convinced that the earth isn't warming (even though the evidence clearly shows year on year record global temperatures) and that it is not due to man-made increases in CO2 (which science clearly demonstrates) need to provide the basis for why they are convinced.

Is there anybody who's not convinced that the earth is not warming? That's hard to believe. Not saying there aren't, just haven't encountered anyone.

Anyway, the issue is in the cause.

They are not convinced that the primary driver is human activities.

Its more of a matter of not being convinced that it is , rather than being convinced that it's not.

Not really. With the overwhelming mountain of data, and scientists working on it, you have to have a cognitive dissonance to believe that it's not. When you're the one spouting conspiracy theories, you get to justify them, or have people point and laugh at you when you're not looking.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I suppose you can provide one out of that mountain of evidence

I suppose you can provide one out of that mountain of evidence

Shall I also teach you to use The Google and logic?

You're the one fighting the status quo. If you can't even be bothered to figure that out on your own, it's clearly wilful, so why would I waste my own time doing it for you? That would make both of us fools.
