Nah, we've had holidays for the Queen's Birthday etc forever....it's BBQ time not "God Save the Queen " singing time.

Who would turn down a day off work.

I would like to see a marble statue in the halls of parliament house in Canberra. Any Sovereign that serves for fifty years or more as Queen Elizabeth did, should get a statue in parliament house so that tourists can see her and learn of her visits and service to our nation.
