Latest is anyone with a healthcare care (pensioners students ect) is 5 free kits a month.

better run out and grab a kit here while they’re still available ¥1300. I’m not falling for Mr k’s empty promises of pcr tests for anyone, what a joke. And our boosters ? Why didn’t the fool plan ahead and like get some in?

Happy Day

Yukijin, 4 shots didn’t work in Israel. They’re setting records for cases, again. Maybe 5 or 6?

Not unexpected, Israel has a low vaccination rate. Only 64% have had 2 vaccinations (let alone boosters).

You are in the wrong country. It is Australia, not America.

https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2021/nov/03/royal-melbourne-hospital-down-51-staff-who-wont-comply-with-covid-vaccine-mandate

A major Melbourne hospital is down 51 staff who are refusing to be vaccinated against Covid, a requirement to work in Victorian healthcare facilities.

So, do you really think missing 51 staff, which represents just 0.45% of the hospital’s 11,000-strong workforce is going to make a difference? As zichi says, it is not America. People believe in vaccines.

He forgot to mention the biggest debt which will only get bigger from the mass testing obsession. And the damage from closure to the economy from mass staff shortage in all areas as people quarantine at home as a result of the mass testing.

He's just getting the latest opinion polls to determine his next course of action. He's lucky that there is no credible opposition, or he would be turfed out at the next election for sure.

Months of lockdowns and hard core police tactics didn't seem to have worked so well. Everyone will get infected. Get vaccinated and drop some weight. Get healthy!

Boosters lol.

2 didn't work, maybe 3 will? Or 4. . .

He is meeting with the National Cabinet to find the biggest towel to throw. (as in "throw in the towel") Face it Mr. Morrison, you can't win. You can't test your way out of this. Shore up the hospitals, limit or delay non-essential surgeries and procedures, and divert the medical staff in the testing facilities over to the hospitals in order to get through this wave.

helps us all to maintain our free life

loool. Free life, isolated from the rest of the world, huh? The way you try to spin things boggles the mind. Mark Mcgowan should be jailed for his crimes against the people unfortunate enough to call themselves residents of WA.

This point is important but often overlooked. I never oppose the mass testing so long as it is wisely implemented in key areas and target groups at the critical moment. However, calling it "free testing" is misleading. It's not charity or courtesy.

PSmith- more than 5,000 ICU beds available in Oz. That means at present the 200 Covid cases are using up 4% of available space.

Next...

...so my number included the maximal beds and surge spaces, yours did not. So let's split the difference and go with the 3000 total available ICU beds. Covid using 200 beds is still less than 10%. Hardly a crisis. Hardly hospitals shutting down and being overwhelmed.

Thanks for providing links that destroy your assertions

except I wasnt talking to you. I was responding to a guy who said that no one has ever said that the vaccine PREVENTS Covid infections. He is claiming there is some difference between Covid the infection and Covid the disease.

In that context, even are claiming that the vaccine does prevent Covid- at 90% effectiveness.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

there are also a finite number of doctors and nurses.

Didnt stop liberals from advocating the firing anyone who refused vaccination. same people who now claim hospitals are overwhelmed and under staffed. Well yeah, you did that.

Now we have COVID positive people working in hospitals, really smart there.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

So you agree these people should have been fired.

No I of course do NOT.

Even more so considering COVID positive people are working there instead of people who are COVID negative, but unvaccinated.

What is more important, vaccination status or COVID positive/negative status?
