There was never really a first wave, all the original cases were caught overseas there was hardly any local transmission.

Well done Aussie friends.

Lower temps=more cases-test away!

Melbourne needs to reinstate the harder lock down to reign in the continuing and increasing spike in covid-19.
Do not follow the USA into covid oblivion by ignoring the growing active cases because that leads to growing deaths.

Melbourne - 30 cases - fear of 2nd wave - testing blitz
Tokyo - 54 cases today - another day above 50 - fear? - testing?
PS: Austrailia, we want you to open your country with us, because we have no virus. Love, Abe

Negative today, positive tomorrow.
Do the hustle
These are very localized hotspot cases and a third of them are people who caught it overseas. However, it has not stopped the zombies panic buying again. I live 1500 K’s away from Melbourne and the zombies have cleaned the supermarkets out of toilet paper, again! It’s very annoying and totally defies logic. They all need a good slap up the side of the face to wake them up.

Funny facts... Overall death numbers are not higher in any country... If no media no TV would mentioned Corona nobody actually would see anything around themselves. Where is this deadly pandemic? Lol

Another economy and mental health destroying overreaction due to irresponsible, sensationalist media fuelled hype to a sickness no worse than the regular flu in the very vast majority of cases.
183 active cases in a state with a population of 6.7 million residents. Your chance of bumping into a live case? 1 in 37000.

It is this kind of ignorance that health systems in many countries are overwhelmed. This virus is not as deadly as Ebola or SARS but it is very contagious do if it is left unchecked million

I just cannot believe there is still people comparing covid-19 to the flu. It is this kind of ignorance that health systems in many countries are in trouble This virus is not as deadly as Ebola or SARS but it is very contagious so if it is left unchecked millions of people will be infected. Yes, the majority will recover themselves but the small percentage of millions of patients who needs hospital treatment is big enough to overwhelm hospitals. Also elderlies and people with underlining illness have higher chances of deaths.
495,414 people have already died from it where countries all over world are working hard to contain it. Imagine what the death figure would have been if it is left unchecked. The Victorian government is trying to put out a fire before it spreads out of control.
