These are very localized hotspot cases and a third of them are people who caught it overseas. However, it has not stopped the zombies panic buying again. I live 1500 K’s away from Melbourne and the zombies have cleaned the supermarkets out of toilet paper, again! It’s very annoying and totally defies logic. They all need a good slap up the side of the face to wake them up.

I just cannot believe there is still people comparing covid-19 to the flu. It is this kind of ignorance that health systems in many countries are in trouble This virus is not as deadly as Ebola or SARS but it is very contagious so if it is left unchecked millions of people will be infected. Yes, the majority will recover themselves but the small percentage of millions of patients who needs hospital treatment is big enough to overwhelm hospitals. Also elderlies and people with underlining illness have higher chances of deaths.

495,414 people have already died from it where countries all over world are working hard to contain it. Imagine what the death figure would have been if it is left unchecked. The Victorian government is trying to put out a fire before it spreads out of control.
