The whole siuation is favorable to China, so it is not realistic to expect any action against it from their part. This is an attack more on China than on Russia.

In both cases Russia was not a major military power threatening to invade other countries. And in both cases they attempted to actually invade Russia itself, which is not the case today.

Australia does not wage wars of aggression, we back up our mates and allies in what we believe to be righteous causes. Refer to WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam (a big loss), Kuwait, Afghanistan and the fight against IS. They should have stayed out of Vietnam but it was a fight against communism and the fake WMD in Iraq.

China has shown it is not yet a civilized nation as it continues to commit genocide and prepares to invade yet another neighboring country (Taiwan). They could use some lecturing. Australia is far more civilized than China, every day of the week.

No, after several major defeats in 2014-15 the regime forces abandoned hundreds of tanks, APCs, guns etc. Military trophies. After the Vietnam war the Vietnamese equipped many army units with the captured American equipment, but it does not mean the U.S. provided Vietnam with weaponry.
