People should do research. If you want product from steel the second important element is coke. Where do to get the world best coke from Australian coal. Until they world stops steel production that when Australia will stop selling coal. Try living without steel products eg cargo ship electric engines. Go straight head. I don’t the the majority of the world don’t that is why zero by 2050 is a con.

That's why we need to invest in green steel, which doesn't use coke.

It's not a con, it's not an option. We have to achieve it or say good bye to earth...

Defending Australia's decision, Pitt said Australia had some of the world's highest quality coal.

All coal is dirty no matter the "quality" and produces pollution.

The Australian government stance is not supported by many Australian's who want a cleaner, greener nation. Unfortunately the Coal mining giants provide masses of money in treasury coffers and the pollies are reliant on those funds. This topic is a point of embarrassment for myself and many Aussies.

Coal currently produces cheaper energy than renewables.
