I believe lots of trace particles of the polio as well as other vaccines are used to trigger proper immune responses. People are afraid of the HIV letters. I would suspect the same with Ebola if that was used as well.

The vaccines do not kill the invaders, they trigger the body to respond to the invaders in a more efficient and powerful way even before being invaded.

What a bunch of foolish alarmists who chose to ignore the part of the article that states ‘there was no chance of HIV transmission’. It’s easier for them to carry on like scared children with false claims of HIV in their system.

I am a pro Vaxer and I want to get vaccinated as soon as possible with a safe and effective vaccine.

But I read so many different news about Covid vaccines from very safe and effective to very scary and not effective.

So far I think this Pfizer thing is the Best.

I need and I want a vaccine to resume my business trips and bring my life back to almost normal.

But the more I read about these vaccines, the more scary I get.

And welcome back to Japan, after you got your vaccine.

I guess if we all got vaccined with a safe and effective stuff, you can have a nice and enjoyable time in Japan.

Agree with BigYen, no need for hysterical over reaction, there was never any danger of contracting HIV from it, stopping it, as there are safe alternatives was the right thing to do on the grounds that they did. Proves the system works.

FWIW, I'm not jumping up and down angry about this either. A single protein from HIV doesn't equal the virus itself. My understanding of this is limited, but I'm guessing the immune system has recognised a protein from the virus's casing, not the RNA inside that actually does the damage. The scientists have noted the reaction and will have to use something else that doesn't trigger the same response, and that's just part of the process. Lots of errors happen along the path to progress.
