Investigate, trial, if warranted an isolation unit with similar offenders, if not freedom. But a career in politics not a future plan.

The Boys Club/power imbalance/misogynistic toxic culture is most probably not just an Australian problem. But ,the current LNP Govt seem to have taken it to a new level. There is an allegation of a rape only doors down from the PM'S office, yet this grub still lies saying he knew nothing about it when everyone else in the building knew. There was the case only this week where an LNP senator was barking like a dog at another female senator whilst she was making a speech. The level of disrespect is beyond disgusting.

Quite a few cases of such abuse coming from Australia.
Previous article mention 1/3 of women in the Australian government suffering some type of sexual harassment.
My issue is with Australia wanting immunity for their soldiers on Japanese soil. You commit the crime, then run away back to your country who will give you a light sentence. You do the crime in Japan you should get sentenced in Japan.

Miller is a "Me Too" advocate and a Journalist and this happen in 2017. She is also a professional and knows of the dangers of a close working relationship and the legalities involved. I question her true motive of standing up of making aware of the toxic work place of politics. So why bring it up now ??? could it be the up coming election ??? Just that Miller is a Professional and advocate for the Me To movement so why didn't she report the abuse back in 2017 at the hight of the Me Too movement. Miller was more worried about losing her professional career than the so call abuse she was injuring.

An unfortunate truth is that if an Australian soldier sent abroad on the orders of the Australian government is imprisoned abroad the family of that soldier, their friends and many in the public would turn on the Australian government and demand they free their soldier. Nobody ever trusts the legal system of a foreign nation to treat a foreign national fairly when accused of a crime against a host nation citizen. The Japanese public and their politicians will not hear anything other than the foreigner is guilty. What happened to Carlos Ghosn and Greg Kelly do not give anyone outside of Japan any confidence in fair treatment of foreigners by the Japanese legal system. The Japanese don't even treat their own fairly! It would be domestic political suicide to cede to Japan the right to prosecute Australian military members accused by the Japanese of crimes. They won't do it and I don't blame them.
