Australian PM tells Russia to 'back off' over spying allegation

The Russians hold so many for alleged spying, but when Australia catches Russian's spying that is apparently some "signal" for anti Russia sentiment. As if any is needed with Russia continuing its invasion of Ukraine. Sentiment for Russia is at a historic low right now in many nations, including Australia.

Dont do the crime if you cant do the time.

Ukraine is fighting a lawful war of resistance whereas Russia is there to steal everything not nailed down. That is a hell of a difference.

Tanks were rolling only one way in Feb. 24, 2022. Before that, the 2014 "coup" must have been the most skillful act of a foreign government in history considering it was done without any weapons.

That is malarkey, pure and simple. The government in question rigged the votes and was caught by the citizens who removed the pro-Russian vote rigger. No pro-russian candidate has come anywhere near winning since free and fair elections have been held, and there has been a few. They cant very well hold elections while being invaded, with so many displaced people and no way for areas under enemy occupation to vote.

Russia did not like its strings being cut so instigated civil unrest, armed the Russian symathizers and sent in troops, they seized Crimea and returned in 2022 to grab more territory.

Russian spies can be quite effective no matter where they go, even to Australia. It has nothing to do with America. Some anti west people go outside, see bad weather and blame the US for it. Get over it. Russua makes mistakes, and thses days the make lots of errors. Getting caught spying is just one more.

Yup, it checks out. The Russian invasion of Ukraine was in fact caused by Russia invading Ukraine, not the United States invading Ukraine. Glad we got that cleared up.

The world is changing. This kind of communication between Politicians was never this stylistic.

So, Russia arrests people for spying, and our government's and media reaction is outraged insistence that the arrests are bogus, intended to create bad feelings for our governments in Russia and beyond, with an end game of getting their obedient courts to convict them despite their obvious innocence and a lack of evidence so they can be traded for a bad person who was caught red handed in a vile crime, tried and convicted by our independent courts based on overwhelming evidence.

That when we arrest people for spying, the Russian government and media react in exactly the same fashion is proof of how corrupt and unfair they are.

Don,t you realise all the world conflicts are USA produced. LOL Russian /Ukraine and Israel / Palestine are enabled by the USA foreign policy. Yesterday you have the USA accusing China as enablers for Russia. Talk about call the kettle back. China is selling raw produce which pot and pan can be made from but also weapon. where the USA give away ready to use massacre bomb and missiles and ready to use fighter jets.
