Patents should apologize to their children and grandchildren for destroying their future.

Yep that’s really gonna help these kids get a job someday.

Good job kids !

Ancient native American proverb - we have not inherited the earth but borrowed it from our grandchildren.

Another protester, 13-year-old Ella O'Dwyer-Oshlack, said she had been affected by the east coast floods.

What was responsible for the floods?

Climate change. The thing they're protesting against. That's why O'Dwyer-Oshlack brought it up.

No climate change=no floods.

That would be great,

I got sunburnt last weekend.

Climate change,

How much paper was unnecessarily wasted for those signs and placards?

How much chemical paint was used for the drawings, pictures and posters?

Thanks for the chuckles.

The continent that is mostly in dangerous zone due to climate finally getting into action.

First of all they need to give priority to Original Australians or they could simply apply for British or Canadian passport.

I may be wrong but the “Liberal” party in Australia is amusingly a conservative/right leaning party - hence some of the signs that seem out of place to the rest of us like “Break the Liberals”.

Not helping with the upside down jokes.

Australia has experienced floods, drought, bushfires for centuries. There is nothing new in these natural disasters.

"give priority to Original Australians" In what respect?

Yep that’s really gonna help these kids get a job someday.

School isn't just about getting a job someday

It is the here and now, that will determine global climate outcomes.

"Don't be a fossil fool" , is an irrelevance.

The reality is the consequence in the belief that a limited tactical chemical, biological, hell nuclear engagement can result in acceptance of/to a platform for any notion of settlement.

Sorry, I believe the environmental case at hand is being played out now.

And could escalate well beyond carbon emissions.

Teachers would be well advised to get behind this fact.

As a matter of interst, if this war escalates beyond the boarder of Ukraine it would be advisable to fully comprehend the outcome.

I'm just wondering, is it part now of what's being taught in schools?

Is it in the textbooks now and part of the curriculum that human activities are the main cause of global warming?

If it is then for better or fir worse we can expect a lot more of this

You’re absolutely correct about Australia’s so-called “Liberal” party being right-wing conservatives, but believe me for those of us who live here, they’re anything but amusing.

As true as that is, their ALP-Greens opposition is even worse. Australia needs a hung parliament with some genuine libertarians holding the balance of power to keep the Liberal Party in check.
