Would her male friend have been able to claim if they had not been in the missionary position?

Unreal. Sue the hotel by all means but worker's comp paid for by the tax payers? Pathetic.

That's some pretty rough sex!

This opens up a can of worms in Australia. What would happen if the woman had gotten pregnant? Could she claim compensation if she had fallen pregnant? And could the the hotel be sued for an unsafe premise that caused injury?

This is a Australian's law. There are many unusual stories in worker compensation cases in Australia.

I wonder if I could be employed by the Aussie government to have sex? Seems that Japan needs policies like these to push up the birthrate!

so while being at it, they managed somehow to dislodge the lamp hanging from the ceiling? An I thought squeaking beds were a problem...

This makes the Ridicu-List! How the light fixture became "dislodged" is highly relevant. If it came crashing down because she was swinging from it, then it's her own fault. How else would a light fixture come crashing down while they were knocking boots? And she has the gall to file for worker's comp? Only if knocking boots is her profession.
