Australia's first female PM describes 'murderous rage' over sexism

I read an article in the Sydney Morning Herald yesterday describing a female journalist's murderous rage at the word 'panties'. It must be the same sort of feeling, I guess.

Sounds as though there is still a subtle gap in perception between many males and females in the modern world. Luckily some people are able to see things from others' points of view, a useful and appeasing ability to have.

Gillard said she had faced a “perfect storm” as leader in which the “wild card element of gender, being the first female prime minister” had been a defining factor.

Yes, she certainly does love to play the victim-card, doesn't she? It couldn't possibly, just possibly be that she wasn't a very good PM, could it? Rather than disliking you because you're a political opportunist who stabs people in the back and breaks promises, they must dislike you because of sexism!

Murderous Rage seems to imply something different to me. I would think that it would be something that would make me want to kill someone with malice of forethought. Being called a name doesn't quite make the cut.

Deplore, you can comment on her politics and no one fill be upset. However, some of the boys club clearly had an issue with her gender and made comments over and over again.

Murderous rage? She sounds like a dangerous psycho.

Reminds me of when I was a primary school (ages 4-11) teacher back in 1990. A perfectly charming little 7 year old boy held a door open for his grateful female friend (also 7) and said "ladies first."

A female colleague of mine in her early 20s immediately went into a crimson-faced, uncontrolled rage, screaming at the boy that he was a sexist, until both the boy and girl were in tears. What a witch. Sadly, there seems to be a streak of that sort of behaviour in a lot of feminists.

If you can handle murderous rage while in a position to do otherwise, then you are PM material.

It seems that people discovered her weak point and attacked it. Children at school do it all the time. That's what politicians do. She probably had an extreme reaction in a certain area, and some people just love to try and work others into a rage.

As much as I don't vote Labor I think she was ok

Julia Gillard did not try to find her fault and mistake yet. She tries to prove she was victimized by men in parliament and media. Julia Gillard was worst PM of Australia. She started gender war on Tony Abbott but Tony Abbott never attacks her base on her gender.

Julia Gillard had helped her boyfriend Union official with opening Hedge fund Account which used to buy house and using Union money for their own interests. She said she paid all costs renovating on her house but traders who involved in her home renovation said she doesn't. She signed when her boyfriend bought home with Union money but she denies it. She denied she open hedge fund account for her boyfriend knowingly. She is lawyer. She definitely what she doing and she exactly know how her boyfriend Union boss will use it. She was sack from Slater and Gordon Law Firm but she said she quit. Julia Gillard never tells truth and confessed her mistake.

After 2010 Election, Labor lost it but either of Parties have numbers to form Government. She strikes with Green for Labor-Green coalition. She tried to get support from 3 idiots Independent MPs former National MPs and form Government. Julia Gillard though if she can not form the Government and then it will be disaster for her but not for Labor party because she just back stabbed another incompetent Labor PM Kevin Rudd. So Julia Gillard desperately and bargain on everything Green asked to keep her dream alive as Prime Minister. Now Green blames Labor for their support drop in election and Labor blames Green for their election lost. It was created by Julia Gillard.

Julia Gillard introduced Carbon tax which promised not to introduce Carbon tax the Government she leads during election campaign in 2010. She does not confess or apology for not keeping election promise. She passed several legislation they are not included in Labor policy during election campaign. Most of policies come from Green and some are policy on the run. Labor proudly declared canceling of inhuman Pacific solution for Asylum seekers. Julia Gillard and Labor MPs start to panic after Tsunami of Asylum seekers arrived on Christmas Island and cost blow out to 10 Billions Dollars but she still refuse to concede Labor Asylum seekers policy was wrong. Mining Tax does not seen to be work and no money coming into Government coffer but money has already spent by borrowing money. The Government debt was increasing to 148 Billions dollars and will reach 300 Billions dollars in 2017 but Julia Gillard and Wayne Swan said the Debt is very small for Australia. Julia Gillard and Labor still did not clear the mess of School revolutionary project and the death and fire from Home Insulation Scheme yet even after Labor lost election to Tony Abbot. There’s too many problems and chaotic Government under Julia Gillard leadership.

On the other hand, Kevin Rudd is secretly campaigning for retain his crown from Julia Gillard. Labor Government under Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard was all about them and not for nation or party. They both want dominant on other and their personality is most important than national interest and labor party interest. Until now they both couldn’t find any fault within themselves. Julia Gillard is still murmuring and blaming on other for her incompetent.

Tony Abbott, Coalition MPs, Medias are questioning on her moral, honesty and incompetence on job. No one is discriminating her because of she was female Prime Minister. They are simple questions for her involvement in Union hedge fund, broken election promise and her incompetence Government.

Julia Gillard accused Tony Abbot as misogyny but Tony Abbott has 3 daughters and successful married person. Actually misogyny comment was coming out from cornered woman. She has run out of excuses to defend for her incompetence job and honesty. Misogyny word for Julia Gillard is nothing more the barking back from cornered puppy that time. Later Medias enlarge it as she becomes hero for some but she lost the ridicules gender war she started. So she lost popular and Kevin Rudd dethroned her.

Julia Gillard needs to stop playing victim-card and complaining on her gender and she needs to accept truth about she was worst PM of Australia. She is the only one who was victimized and discriminated by herself but no one else.

I'm going to make a wild guess that all the posters going on about her "playing" victim are men. She doesn't have to "play". The comments and tone from some of the men in Oz about her were nothing less than sexist. pathetic and disgusting.
