The manner in which he died remains a mystery , but guards on Epstein's unit were working extreme overtime shifts to make up for staffing shortages the morning of his apparent suicide, a person familiar with the jail's operations told The Associated Press.

Don't insult our intelligence. This was the most high profile prisoner in the entire country. Someone didn't want this guy watched.

It's very telling that nobody is casting doubt on the veracity of the victims experiences and allegations.

Which is as it should be.

And why? It's because the alleged predators and abusers come from various parts of the political spectrum.

Tricky for the hyperpartisans to vilify the victims, on this one.

Whoever is part of the cabal and engaged in such abuse must be brought to justice.

medical officials have performed an autopsy on the high-profile inmate

Will we ever know the medical officials' names? And when will their report be made public?

In unrelated news, the guards have retired to a tropical island with a bank account full of money.

It is almost certain that Epstein was purposely not put under watch . This is a well-established modus operandi in prisons when the authorities are eager to be rid of a politically inconvenient inmate. These select few are then given every opportunity to off themselves voluntarily, or if necessary, involuntarily.

The bigger concern is their safety. If Epstein was killed, as rich, powerful and connected as he was - what chance have these young women? A payoff offered along with a threat would be very persuasive in this situation.

We all know that he was taken out for the obvious reasons. But the autopsy will not confirm anything beyond a verdict of suicide.I'm sure Trump is relieved if nothing else.

How about Prince Andrew & the Queen? Bet she's sipping on a glass of her fav gin & dubonnet, breathing a sigh of relief. Many super rich & famous wanted Epstein out; DT's not the only one rejoicing.

It's story time again!

Epstein was suicided!

Every man and his dog knew Epstein was never gonna make it to trial.

The conspiracy theories are being tossed about like five at a wedding.

Sometimes a suicide is just that: a suicide.

Sometimes a suicide is just that: a suicide.

So, Chip, you believe this was a suicide? You're one of the few who believe that.

Trump will tweet it tomorrow;

Epstein was done in by Don Lemon aided by the Dixie Chicks....

Yes, liberals would totally agree with me if I said it wasn’t a suicide because Trump did it.

Anyone other than Trump, he obviously killed himself, conspiracy pushing moron.

Trump is pushing a particular conspiracy theory with no basis or evidence for political reasons.

Yes, he’s a moron for doing this and only morons would defend this rancid trash.

Not good enough from a world leader. It stinks.

Oh? Almost everybody who knows anything about that detention facility (former DAs, lawyers, inmates, penal officers) almost all say there is something very off about this suicide. Even common sense says it's highly suspicious.

Something is clearly rotten, and very high ranking people are clearly involved. So, yes, it is appropriate for the President to comment on it.

Don’t you have to have some kind of facts or explanation of an event, then dispute that explanation in order for the phrase conspiracy theory to apply? So far there is littarly no factual or other information about his death.

Anyone talking conspiracy theory at this point is emotionally compromised or pushing a meme.

No, it is not.

As I said, Trump is pushing a particular conspiracy theory ( Clinton involvement ) with no basis or evidence. He isn’t saying it looks suspicious - he’s pushing the idea of knowing the culprit with zero evidence.

This is rancid trash. This is not what a world leader should be doing. It’s not the first time he’s pushed baseless conspiracy trash for political gain.

Makes a claim - offers no reference...

Even common sense says it's highly suspicious.

Common sense is not something we associate with Trumpers...

Something is clearly rotten, and very high ranking people are clearly involved.

White House people?

So, yes, it is appropriate for the President to comment on it.

Sure, Tweet an alt-right nut-job conspiracy theory - to try to misdirect attention away from himself...

Remember - Trump and Epstein had a party with 28 girls at Mar-A-Lago...he's got to be scared to death there are tapes or audio of that...
