It doesn't matter what Any Schumer's cousin Chuck says if Pelosi won't let her democrat ,lock-stepping, Congressman show up for work.

Pelosi couldn't arrange testing, but Trump didn't seem to have any difficulty making it happen. Again. The "resist" movement won't even allow elected Democrats to work for the betterment of the country during a pandemic.

The Senate will reopen on Monday as the coronavirus crisis rages and the House stays shuttered, a risky strategy that leaves Congress as divided as the nation.

Let the Democrats stay on vacation, they can do less damage that way.

Yes, it is a risk, but you can’t shut down the entire planet indefinitely, there’s no way you can do that, it’s unsustainable and because many cities and States are all slowly loosening restrictions, people have to ans want to get to work and the longer this lockdown continues as the numbers of new cases are falling, the angrier and more rebellious the people will get. You don’t do a giant massive re-opening, you do it gradually and in phases with the extreme cautionary measures in place.

I’m not a doctor so I wouldn’t be able to make that kind of an assessment, but Congress will have to figure it out, they can still practice safe distancing within the chambers or work on some inventive ways, but they can’t just sit back and wait it out, that’s not only insane it’s just unfathomable for the nation.
