Trumps mother is from Scotland? Does that make him a son of an immigrant?

Goodluck - Yep. But his mom was a legal immigrant as is his wife.

Oh my...

Th Scots hate him more than the rest of the UK do.

Some Scots hate him. So do almost all liberals. Tee hee!

I saw a documentary about the golf course some years ago and it showed everything you needed to know about the man. Especially the efforts to get some people living on the fringe of the course to sell up through fairly unpleasant tactics.

Problem was that the course was built too close to the sea and it is hard to keep the sand from encroaching onto the grass. A constant battle for the management.

Didn't he say something to effect, they all love me in the UK?

A famous golf course owner from America who, I think, has now turned his hand to politics

He is the President of the US and he could probably buy your country...

too bad you don't have a vote, people who like good economies like him

He will be greeted by Scottish Secretary David Mundell, from the British Government, when he arrives north of the border on Friday.

at least someone in scotland has enough class to be cordial, a brit

Didn't he say something to effect, they all love me in the UK?

Yeah, you know he does it on purpose because it just sets the Liberals hair on fire, as I said before the media are not the only ones that like to mess around, Trump enjoys throwing it right back at the media as well.

-15 ( +1 / -16 )

Yeah, you know he does it on purpose because it just sets the Liberals hair on fire

So you’re saying he’s a troll?

12 ( +12 / -0 )

Looks like Trump's UK visit is a bit of a disaster. But not to worry, he'll blame it on the English or the Scots or Teresa May or something.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

So you’re saying he’s a troll?

I think he means that the media say bad things about him, so in return he commits treason, adultery and supports far right racist groups whilst lying an average of 6.5 times per day. Seems legit, which one of us hasn't done that?

10 ( +10 / -0 )

people who like good economies like him

No. I like good economies and I don’t like him. In fact that’s one of the main reasons I don’t like him - he’s breaking the world economies. It’s sad to watch people without the intelligence to see the end result of his policies thinking that he is doing good, as they really have no clue just how stupid they will look, especially since they won’t understand until after the coming crash.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

So you’re saying he’s a troll?

I was referring to the MSM as trolls

Looks like Trump's UK visit is a bit of a disaster. But not to worry, he'll blame it on the English or the Scots or Teresa May or something.

I don’t think he really cares at all, but I do think the Brits want him to deeply care and dwell on it and that’s not something he does.

-11 ( +0 / -11 )

He then went to the Fox News reporter, but should have called Trump out for refusing the question from CNN.

Why would he do that? CNN has never been objective about anything regarding this President, that’s why their ratings are sliding again. If they criticize him for the good things he does, that would be fine, but they don’t, they criticize this president for every little thing, so for him to give interview and for them to distort his words, as they always do then it would be just a waste of time, so I wouldn’t as well.

-12 ( +0 / -12 )

You just described Fox “news” to a T.

10 ( +10 / -0 )

You just described Fox “news” to a T.

Ahh, not at all, and not everyone at FNC is in the Trump camp, something like diversity you won’t see on the other networks, so at least you get a mixed bag of praise, condemnation, all kinds. Hannity loves him, Shep can’t stand the guy. You’re not going to see this on CNN or even my old network. No wonder their ratings keep soaring. Brian Ross found out the hard way.

-11 ( +0 / -11 )

Fox “news” has been peddling lies for years. But Trump is so offensive that even some of them are repulsed by him. Don’t take that as meaning they have any credibility though. Too many years of lies.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

Fox “news” has been peddling lies for years.

If that were true, they would be into the ratings dumpsters like CNN and msnbc.

But Trump is so offensive that even some of them are repulsed by him.

Sure, some are and some aren’t, even my idol and mentor the late Charles Krauthammer thought so, but at the same time, he gave credit to Trump when credit was due.

Don’t take that as meaning they have any credibility though. Too many years of lies.

No, I don’t take offense, I just look at the ratings and the viewership climbing.

-13 ( +0 / -13 )

On the rare occasions that he's not whingeing about them. He really does whinge a lot for a president. But then he's not really a president, is he.

Now that just didn’t make any sense. ROFL

So Trump lost his bid to stop wind farms and didn’t deliver the investment he promised. Not really shocking.

11 ( +11 / -0 )

Fascinating questions involve these Trump purchases - they came at a time when he was deep in debt, they have yet to turn a profit, and yet Trump financed the projects entirely in cash - something uncharacteristic for this famous "debt king.".

And this was exactly at the same time that Trump Jr. was bragging about the funding the Trump Organization was bringing in from Russia.

The owner of Fox News and the British Sun news paper are the same.

It’s not the same thing. I’m a bass player and I play a Fender and their sister company is Squire and also EVH amplification sound systems, they’re all under the Fender Umbrella, but not the same thing..

Yesterday Trump accused the Sun of fake news and not printing his interview but we also know that's not true.

He doesn’t trust the European News, can’t blame the man.

So in future will Trump boycott both the Sun and Fox News?

If the Sun is more down the middle perhaps.

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

The Sun recorded in full the Trump interview so he's now accusing himself of lying, interesting, he got caught out.

Then I guess he needs to take that up with the Sun, if he so chooses to.

FOX News and the Sun have nothing to do with bass playing.

No, the analogy is, Squire and EVH are under the Fender umbrella, FOX TV, FX etc are under News Corp. umbrella, they are all differently run.

If Trump does not trust European newspapers then why did he give an extended interview to Murdock's Sun?

Heck if I know, maybe he thought they would be fair, but I think he forgot, he’s in Europe.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

T clowns trying to pick up track again and come up sentences like 'He doesn’t trust the European News, can’t blame the man' based on no knowledge.

Here some 'European News' with the POTUS revealing his economic expertise and how he would deal with Brexit :)

Another Trump whooper!

Fine details, fine research on the finer points as always from Zichi. Are you saying that Trump lied about demonstrable truths? Hard to believe. Then again, he did lie about the weather on his inauguration day. If your supporters are willing to forget that they're getting wet, then the rest of your lies must be quite a relief.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

"all presidents lie!"

Facts aren't important in American politics anymore. It's only who has the power to publicize the best version of them. Even weather can be politicized.

Six years on, overseas visitors to Scotland have increased by nearly a quarter and renewable energy now powers over two-thirds of Scottish homes and rising.

That's a really good result for six years!

That's what happens when you decide you can do things instead of being in the way

Today, hundreds of thousands of Scots took to their streets to protest over Trump.

@zichi, I think you'll find the numbers were much smaller. I've heard 10,000 in Edinburgh and a few hundred near his golf courses. The biggest event in Scotland today was a Gay Pride parade in Glasgow. While I'm sure many at that event took a swipe at Trump, I'm also wondering whether David Mundell would have been welcome. (David Mundell recently came out as gay.)

They reproduced the interview exactly has it was conducted by Trump. Adding nothing, deleting nothing. What now we have the Trumpgate Tapes?

This is nothing, by the end of next month, people will have forgotten abou.

The reason Trump gave the interview to the Sun because it's owned by his old friend Murdock.

Nothing wrong with that. Remember who Al Sharpton’s best buddy was or Jeffery Immelt. Don't even try.

That's ok, he’s not the President of Europe, so they can bounce and whine all day, exercise is good for the body anyway.

The man who said this didn't do too badly at all by peddling lies, for a while, anyway:

"If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it, and you will even come to believe it yourself."

I wouldn't expect you to know who that was.

Nothing to say about the rest of the comment, I see. Is that because you would have to acknowledge that lying about something like dates that are public knowledge makes your Dear Leader look not only dishonest but also senile?

Trump doesn't have a vote in Scotland

Scottish people decide what's best for them, even if it's not beneficial to Trump Inc.

Which liberal entity are you referring to?

Nothing to say about the rest of the comment, I see. Is that because you would have to acknowledge that lying about something like dates that are public knowledge makes your Dear Leader look not only dishonest but also senile?

So that’s an egregious crime now? Gosh, if only you’d be as hard on the MSM as you are on this President, this world could heal.
