It likely doesn’t bother his lawyers that he is guilty as Hell. They deal with guilty clients all the time.
It probably DIES bother them that he continues to engage in criminal behavior likely to increase his legal liability (and possibly create liability for them as well.)
Dosbidaya and don’t get any on ya, guys.
Hope the check clears, but if it doesn’t, just get out of the blast radius.

Bannon is probably trying to get then to overthrow democracy (again). These lawyers would probably rather stay out of jail in their role of defending their client.

Stevie 3- shirts discovered that he doesn’t get steak and a bottle of whiskey with each meal and also that prison isn’t fun and that he wouldn’t be able to film his screed daily, so he doesn’t want to go anymore.
That’s the “difference.”

Several attorneys representing various persons being tried for crimes related to the 6 January uprising have been sanctioned for advancing knowingly false information, filing frivolous motions, refiling the same motion repeatedly even after previous judges have ruled against that motion and various other delay tactics, even arguing with judges in the courtroom, have found themselves fined by the court or on one case a law license was suspended. Rudy Giuliani's license is may also be suspended or revoked for the unprofessional and dishonest nature of some of his filings. Most attorneys won't go there.
It is one thing to defend a client who is probably guilty. Under the US Constitution everyone is entitled to competent legal counsel. No shame in defending them. What a good lawyer won't do is knowingly lie to a judge, knowingly enter into evidence falsehoods or engage in delay tactics. Those kinds of acts are generally seen as highly unprofessional, unethical which can threaten their law license.

On the up side for Stevie-3 chins,
He would be forced to bathe and would gain access of laundered clothing. AND his liver would get a rest.
So it's not ALL bad for him.
And yes, Dessert is more than correct: the "difference" of opinion on legal strategy is that Stevie-3 pens wants his lawyers to do things that would get them sanctioned, disbarred or worse.
They, on the other hand, don't want to do that.
Funny how that works, isn't it?

Why is this dirtbag still free?
bass4funk
Maybe because he committed no crimes?
Nemo
He was convicted. I guess they didn't cover that on your MAGA-land news? It took the jury all of about an hour to reach a unanimous verdict.
He is free while his case is on appeal. A luxury that most convicted criminal do not get.

No big deal. This is minor news.

Tell that to Stevie 3-chins. He's the one going to prison.

The MAGA-masses prove once again they are the kings of self-flagellation...
The Deacon of Dumpster and his self-confessed business partner fleece them out of all their money for "The Wall" that then went to their new home additions and European vacations...

And who pardoned Bannon from his crimes - the Ultra MAGA Con-Man himself...
So both Trump and Bannon take them for fools hustling all their money - and they still defend them...
Welcome to MAGA-world...
Nemo
Fun Fact: Accepting a pardon for his "We build the wall" scam was legally an admission of guilt!

I will when he comments here.

Why wait - send him a note with that next check you mail him for "The Wall" that he'll use to build his mansion's sun room...
He sure won't use it to enlarge his wardrobe...
Sure don't get the MAGA-masses love for a guy that called Trump a "scumbag" and plays them for fools by conning them out of all their money...
Nemo
You can also ask him what kind of rot-gut booze he used your "donation" on instead of the Wall, which was so poorly constructed (the part that actually WAS constructed, which wasn't much) that it fell over into the river.

Just like Trump's lawyers always quitting.
Strangerland
He literally was found guilty by a "judge" of committing crimes. That's the very way that it is determined on whether a crime has been committed, by having a "judge" declare a "verdict".
And the legal verdict is that Bannon is legally a criminal.

More information today, apparently Mr. Bannon is simply refusing to communicate with his attorneys. One attorney, pleading to be removed from the case told the judge that the only way Mr. Bannon would communicate with him was through a third party. Mr. Bannon is claiming he wants to fire his lawyers and hire new ones. This means a seven week delay. The judge, to his credit, understands what Mr. Bannon is doing is a delaying tactic. He has told the attorneys however he will not allow them to dump Mr. Bannon as a client until Mr. Bannon has a new legal team, telling the attorneys he will not allow someone before his court to go unrepresented.
Strangerland
Smart judge. Seeing as no sane lawyer is going to pick up Bannon's case, when Bannon is clearly a nuthead with no understanding of the law, if he were able to fire his lawyers he could then delay indefinitely with claims of not being able to find a lawyer.
Let him deal with his current lawyers. If his court date comes and they aren't prepared because he refused to provide his lawyers with the requisite information, that will be his problem, rather than negligence by his lawyers (they are covering their a$$ by trying to resign). So the judge was smart to not disallow the changing of lawyers, but putting the ball in Bannon's court, and not slow down the trial. The people deserve to see Bannon jailed for his crimes as soon as possible.

Bannon always looks like he needs a shower, haircut, and shave. Looks like a homeless person.

Why do conservatives always look like some one drew a dot-to-dot picture in the wrong order ?
