“We are not against entertainment as long as it is within the framework of our culture and our religion,” Sabki said. “We are against Western sexy performances. We don’t think our people need that.”

Heh, we don't think our people need this. How amusing hearing this mullah decide for his people what they can and cannot watch. What they need or don't need. Why don't you let the customers decide whether they are in favor of it. People go and watch the concert, obviously they were ok with it, those who don't either don't like her music or didn't care for the image.

"protesters threatened to disrupt the concert"

Idiots.

Sabki Yusof, youth vice head of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, said Sunday that they would send a protest note to the government over the concert. He said it was the government’s “responsibility to protect the people of Malaysia” from what he described as immoral Western influences.

Oh yea, you called that an immoral Western influence..gee, you must be so so out of date....Kuala Lumpur is such a modern and sophisticated city and I'm sad to know that someone's trying to disrupt modernisation.

Anyway...Beyonce will look good in any dress code..she's just beautiful and sexy. I bet she looks better than Aya Sugimoto at 41...lol

"immoral Western influences"

As opposed to backward Islamic influences.

There are over 9 million people in that backward country that are not Muslims, maybe some of them would like to attend this concert. And see Beyonce dress in what ever style she cares to wear. She, not being a Muslim, isn’t (or shouldn’t be) covered by their backward Islamic laws.

Message to Islamists: If you don't want to see Beyonce's performance, then don't go! The rest of us would like to see it!

I don't know why Beyonce is so intent on performing in a Muslim country. It's not like she needs the money.
