How about fixing record inflation, the crashing stock market, supply chain, gas prices, foreign policy, and actually shutting down COVID

Funny, I haven’t heard of any GOP plan to address any of those issues.

“What are they for?”

Insurrection for one, and voter suppression for another.

He is wrong. The GOP do have a message and it has been consistent all along: Gaslight, Obstruct, Project.

Here is a transcript of a question and answer from the news conference. It is even worse if you see the video footage:

It is no surprise that he was hidden from the public for virtually the entire 2020 campaign. A practice that has continued for good reason.

Arent we 12 months into the Biden administration and the virus is still not under control and is in fact the worst it has ever been as far as total number of infected? or am I imagining that?

No. You sound very concerned about Omicron.

What do you want him to do about it? What measures would you recommend? I’d hate to think you have no clear ideas here.

Be specific.

Why such omitting that this press conference was a big mess, especially on foreign policy fields, even accepting smaller ‘incursions’ into Ukrainian area, and as usual accompanied with his quite strange behavior like being inattentive, searching for words and such, so that this senior is showing nothing else than that he is physically and mentally incapable for this presidency in the Western world’s leading country. Whatever political side someone is on, but this really requires a change quickly, I even recommend not to wait for all three years he has left officially or then even let him and vice Harris candidate again. That becomes more obvious day by day, doesn’t it?

Coherent GOP policies?

Control the border

Four years and no wall - after promising 62 times in 2016....

energy production

From all the coal companies that line the pockets of the Repubs in Congress....

control inflation by controlling government spending

An unfunded $1.9 trillion tax cut for the Top 1%, two unfunded stimulus bills, subsidies for farmers...

these are things the people actually care about.

If that's true, the Repubs are toast....

“What are they for? What is their agenda?” Biden asked. “I don’t know what they are for now.”

Well Joe, you're being too polite....we know exactly what the Repubs stand for....they stand for;

A demolition of our democracy - replacing it with a form of minority rule and tyranny similar to their heroes in Russia and China....

Resorting to violence when they lose - as clearly seen on Jan 6th...

An embrace of racist white nationalism and a return to the "old days" of Jim Crow...

And a bunch of made-up issues - CRT, immigrant replacement theory, etc, that don't exist, except in the minds of those being manipulated....

In summary - it's all misdirection, hate, denial, and delusion...

If the GOP is to have any cred ever again, they need to shed the party of the scourge of Trumpist fascism. That's what he is and he brought shame and disgrace to America.

Arent we 12 months into the Biden administration and the virus is still not under control and is in fact the worst it has ever been as far as total number of infected? or am I imagining that?

joe addressed the nation about the pandemic in Jan. 2021 like any POTUS would. He didn't deny it or BS about it. He didn't suggest anything stupid like using Clorox. However even a POTUS has limits and Joe knows it. Several state governors, mayors, etc. are skating the issue and neglecting their duties and we still have these lippy loquacious loony loudmouths who keep on lying lying lying and won't shut up for once. They're troublemakers.

I'm not disappointed with his first year in office. He's had a lot of undoing the ugly mess the Orangutan Mussolini caused on us all. He's got a lot more to do now.

And Joe can't and didn't create the omicron strain, it developed itself. We all need to do our part to fight it but there's still obstinacy and superstition and lies about. Joe's fulfilling his role in fighting Covid, he and Jill have showed an example.

He's been so busy undoing the crap Dumpster did, the local VA didn't have a Presidential picture up on the wall until around July. And I'm not disappointed with his first year. In fact, I'm happy he managed to get as much done as he has now. That and having a true POTUS once again.

More leftist hyperbole, "blah blah fascism, blah blah white nationalism, blah blah Putin...." It is getting old and tired. Come up with some new scare tactics, those ones obviously aren't working on the public if the latest polling is any indication.

Coherent GOP policies? Control the border, energy production, control inflation by controlling government spending, these are things the people actually care about.

Joe is toast. He is losing support amongst Hispanic voters even more rapidly than among African Americans. What he fails to realize is that most Americans of all ethnicities share common concerns- inflation, jobs, family, cost of basic goods. There is little enthusiasm for leftist ideals like so-called 'voting rights' or police reform.

The GOP stands for lower taxes, less government intrusion into peoples' lives, more energy self sufficiency, secure borders, and equal opportunity for all.

Funny, I haven’t heard of any GOP plan to address any of those issues.

Give it time and it wouldn’t be scripted or ramblings or blaming anyone other than the current President in office.

joe addressed the nation about the pandemic in Jan. 2021 like any POTUS would. He didn't deny it or BS about it. He didn't suggest anything stupid like using Clorox.

More people died on his watch and that wasn’t addressed, why?

However even a POTUS has limits and Joe knows it.

Ok, but he never admits to his faults or limits, but he will quickly pivot to Trump, Republicans or conservatives voters.

Several state governors, mayors, etc. are skating the issue and neglecting their duties and we still have these lippy loquacious loony loudmouths who keep on lying lying lying and won't shut up for once. They're troublemakers.

All of them can’t run away fast enough from this guy because they all know they’re on the time clock.

I'm not disappointed with his first year in office.

According to the polls you’re in the minority.

He's had a lot of undoing the ugly mess the Orangutan Mussolini caused on us all. He's got a lot more to do now.

More junk talk.

And Joe can't and didn't create the omicron strain, it developed itself. We all need to do our part to fight it but there's still obstinacy and superstition and lies about. Joe's fulfilling his role in fighting Covid, he and Jill have showed an example.

But he said he wasn’t going to just fight it once he’s elected, he promised to beat it, he didn’t do that, he just tries to impose more draconian rules and thinks lockdowns and closures are the way to beat the virus but then himself defies the rules of wearing a mask and takes it off once the cameras are not around. Rules for me, but not for thee? Why?

He's been so busy undoing the crap Dumpster did, the local VA didn't have a Presidential picture up on the wall until around July.

And yet the military as a whole respect the man then the current leader of the White House.

And I'm not disappointed with his first year. In fact, I'm happy he managed to get as much done as he has now. That and having a true POTUS once again.

At this point, he’s going to be a one term at this going rate. But hopefully when the Republicans retake the House it will drive some sense info him and the rest of the soon to be Democrat minority to pivot to the center. Yeah, his agenda will be done, blown to bits, but at least he can govern from the middle and work with Republicans and maybe even pass some laws in a bipartisan fashion that is good for the nation and put the rest of the progressive junk in the trash.

Biden has no understanding at even the basic level.

He actually thinks the problem is that he hasnt serviced Black voter needs enough, hasnt traveled around and talked to people enough and needs to be involved more in the midterm elections of candidates (who want to distance from him and his unpopularity). Its a problem that he hasnt changed the voting laws, hasnt increased taxes and hasnt spent enough money. If he just does all that, everything is fine! Talk about clueless. He thinks the REPUBLICANS have no message? what is your message, then?

How about fixing record inflation, the crashing stock market, supply chain, gas prices, foreign policy, and actually shutting down COVID as you promised?

Reminds me of Kamala Harris. "what is the thing you most regret?", she said she hadnt travelled enough. clueless and tone deaf, the both of them.

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

I want him to shut it down, as he promised.

Using that plan he claimed that Trump didnt have, but that he did.

basically do what he said, considering he commented about Trump after 8 months and he has had 12.

What measures would I recommend?

I wasnt elected President, nor did I get elected by claiming I had a plan and promising to shut down COVID. Not did I announce in the summer of 2021 that I had achieved that goal. when I had not.

“What are they for? What is their agenda?” Biden asked. “I don’t know what they are for now.”

Easy. For- Preventing YOU from destroying our country with your policies until the people can vote the Dems out in the midterms to prevent any further threats.

-5 ( +5 / -10 )

it was very clear.

Joe Biden @JoeBiden

We're eight months into this pandemic, and Donald Trump still doesn't have a plan to get this virus under control.

I do.

not in charge, dont have to have a plan.

In fact, its a waste of time. as dont have the majority of any branch of government to implement a plan if they had one. Democrats are responsible to "govern" and they cant. Biden was elected to "lead" and he cant.
